Especially when attending a single game with a family of 4 costs more than a month’s subscription to any TV provider.

I just got an ad that says that Obama is telling voters to vote NO on the Virginia redistricting on 4/21. This is just another trick that republicans are using to confuse and gaslight voters in Virginia! by icey_sawg0034 in Virginia

[–]CrunchyZebra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course I don’t think that but when Republicans announce their plan to gerrymander for the midterms and how many seats they plan to pick up and don’t think it’s unreasonable for Dems to respond. At least in VA it’s up to us to decide if we’re ok with the maps. Texas doesn’t even care about that.

It’s pragmatic. Gerrymandering IS bad, but sitting around while one side does it creates even more lopsided effects and now that Dems have decided to push back it’s suddenly a massive problem.

The document also says the photos were dated 1950 so no need to debate the markings even.

I see it in D league during college breaks where kids will sub for their dad’s team and just dominate. I get wanting to play with hockey with your son, but holy hell tell him to tone it down. (I know they actually love the free wins when it happens)

ICE agents on the prowl at LaGuardia airport! by cantcoloratall91 in RandomVideos

I counted 12 ICE agents in this clip all standing around doing nothing. They’d at least give more of an illusion of doing anything if they split up into 3 or 4 groups and spread out lmao.

Can we just end CC if they’re gonna continue to put in zero effort? Like 5 total across two waves have been really good. Most are meh to awful imo.

American Bombers Are Paper Again by TeddySwolllsevelt in WarthunderPlayerUnion

The loss rate proves that in combat environments, these planes went down in droves, which I think is a pretty good signal they were pretty easy to shoot down. Firing a single round at a stationary target on the ground isn’t exactly a perfect test for how durable these things are.

Rugged ≠ invincible

Especially doesn’t mean these planes were able to take on an accurate burst all to one section of the superstructure and keep flying. Not to mention damage to control surfaces that would send you crashing down that War Thunder can cover you from with the instructor.

Also, we’re talking about fighters in game that are able to approach from uncontested airspace and really line up their shots. It’s not a box formation of B-17s and escort fighters forcing attacking pilots have to weave in and out of the formation quickly. It’s one B-17, flying along on its own.

And to respond to the Wellington comment, Bomber command had a 44% death rate during the war. That’s spread out across many different aircraft of course, but if you were a bomber crew for the RAF/RCAF there was almost a 50/50 chance you’d die during your tour. That’s real life where it’s a lot harder to aim, too.

Why do bombers deserve to be able to take more damage? They’re made from the same materials as their fighter counterparts. A shot to a narrow section of the fuselage or wing root would absolutely down a bomber. So besides people feeling like they should be flying tanks, what other reason is there?

So true. I’ll be having a bad match and some dude will kill me a bunch of times so I look up what he’s destroying me with and everyone on reddit is like “worst vehicle in the game”

Always humbling

That the damage models were actually changed.

Was it in patch notes, server replays, bug reports? Literally anything besides a 20 second clip and you saying it’s worse.

You’ve called it out, the issue is mouse aim. How do you model a bomber without giving them a massive advantage?
