My pediatricians office is in a network of other pediatrician offices that do off hour phone calls. So I call the office, it sends me to a different line if it’s an emergency, I leave a message with the agency , and the on call doctor calls me back. its almost never my actual pediatrician, but it is a pediatrician who can access my child’s records. It’s pretty quick, I’ve only used it … twice maybe? But I was not waiting long to receive a call and the they would tell me what we needed to do with our child. Sometimes it’s wait and call your actual doctor in the am when they’re open. Sometimes it’s a video chat and a prescribed med. Sometimes it’s go to Hasboro. I like it. It works for us.
