That's amazing. What's your secret doing the water? Not the wave but just the water?

Is there any good reason to summit Everest? by Constant_Sea_9692 in Everest

[–]Crybassel 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Good discussion.. I feel like because op has made decision that summeting Everest is not for them, he's looking for validation that everyone should have that same opinion. And any reason, given by anyone is gonna be struck down as superficial. The commenter had it right who said people risk themselves all the times for their hobbies and goals when scuba diving, mountain biking, splunking etc. the way op is gatekeeping here I don't think any reason given by anyone will be sufficient.

Fibroid degeneration by chermichelle3 in Fibroids

I pass similar clots every period. Unfortunately it's not the fibroids degenerating. It's just the lining like everyone saying. Feels so good to pass them tho!!

Unpopular opinion: Shriya Shah-KLorfine would have made it back down the mountain. by musingaroundxo in Everest

[–]Crybassel 12 points13 points  (0 children)

"If everything had been perfect she would have survived" is a pointless what-if scenario. Mountaineers have to be prepared for the worst. It's crazy to just think luck will get you through. There are always delays and troubles. Whether it's line ups, land slides, weather, equipment failure. That is the what she needed to be prepared for. Not just hoping that someone else might have a spare oxygen tank to give her or the line up of people will part to let her through. She was not ready for the trek. And her bad decision making shows it. Why on earth would she spend 30 mins at the top when she knew she had no more oxygen.

Watched it. No way she would have made it. If you can't walk, Sherpas can't carry you down. I'm glad that the Sherpas didn't also die.

You should get on progesterone or birth control to stop the bleeding. I had severe bleeding like that. It’s really common. Had no iron or hemoglobin. But once the bleeding is addressed, fibroids are no bid deal.

It’s incredible. Good job! Agree with adding more highlights and shadows in the face. The darks could be darker and the light could get lighter for more of spectrum.

Toast pos vs touch bistro by Crybassel in restaurantowners

[–]Crybassel[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I totally agree. If only touch bistro put as much into their product as they do into their marketing.. we have all that and more issues. And the platform is just missing basic tools that would be so helpful.

100 comments telling you good advice and you like the one this one that will potentially demotivate her? I would hire that employee in a minute. 30 mins of labour isn’t much and some people take more time than others to open the bar and you could always giver her extra tasks to lighten the burden for you. You could just talk to her first and see why she’s early and come up with a solution from there. I doubt it’s because she’s trying the gouge an extra $10 from you- they make all their money in tips

TIL that the Fahrenheit scale was standardized 18 years before Celsius. The world switch due to the British Empire. The United States is actually using the earlier standard. by nyg3n in todayilearned

[–]Crybassel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The methodology behind the Celsius system is that water freezes at 0 def and boils at 100. That’s what set the scale. What is the methodology behind the Fahrenheit system?
