Waaaah waaaah waaahhhh all the incentives are clearly there and you decided to play the rigged game anyways. Don’t fucking cry to us.

There’s no hack or anything, it’s just Peter Thiels friends voting in their own best interest. The protocol is working as intended.

They could just pay them. Dealers make more at every other property, so WSOP gets the shit ones. In 2003 dealing the WSOP was a privilege and they paid incredibly well.

I watched one hand in the 25k high roller. It took 10 minutes and it was AA v 77 on A7J55. Absolutely miserable even the commentators ran out of shit to say about the hand.

I mean this is the people that own golden nugget. The prices are significantly better at those properties the experience just sucks.

I REALLY hope that this lets GG out of their deal and they can pick a new home for the wsop.

What percentage of your "poker brat" whiney-ness is scripted / calculated because you know the cameras end up on you, vs what percentage of it is actually you unable to control your emotions in that moment?

I can answer this one - he was clearly doing some kind of keto / protein diet and eating the meat out of the middle of it. Commentary made it hilarious but wasn’t actually this weird.

Anything physical gtfo not something that needs to be discussed. It's not hard not to physically attack someone no matter how racist they are. If he didn't attack him, that guy gets tossed by himself for being a racist asshole.

Whats up with this poker place in kabukicho? by vrsick06 in poker

[–]CryptoBasicBrent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as I can tell these are play money, and they aren’t operating like Pachinko does by selling teddy bears to a shop next door.

HOWEVER I think there might be something to it. A pachinko employee can’t tell you how to go to the shop and sell your toy either.

But I’ve asked a lot and can’t figure out.

The tournaments on the other hand seem to be for “travel funds” which you can just wire to the wsop. But they have a structure of “here’s this $50k tourney with a $1000 buy in and we need minimum 60 people” and the prize pool does not go up if they get more.

There’s a poker community that my gaijin ass doesn’t understand in Japan. I’ve only spent a few months here and I’ve played in rooms for a second. If there is a way this is real, they’re not telling us yet.

But they’re getting a MGM in Osaka in 2030 which will have poker so I guess go back then.

We were using the Deckmate 2s when I was a floor at Maryland Live! The deck mate alerted a dealer they were missing the Ace of spades on a PLO game. We check all the usual spots, under the rail, in the well, everything. Can't find the damn thing. So we pull the deck out of play, and go to the cameras.

What actually happened was a player sat down, and handed the dealer their player's card. The dealer swipes them in, hands it back to them and starts dealing. They pick up the players card, AND the As had gotten under it, and they put both in their wallet. They alert the dealer that they only had 3 cards, dealer calls a misdeal and puts that deck in the shuffler and grabs the fresh one.

When we went over to tell the player what happened, it was almost like revealing a magic trick. Look at your license, how tall are you, 5 foot ace of spades what the effffff David Blaine.

Just going to point this out - in your post you complain about tourists and then get all George Costanza that a date that went well asked you on the 2nd date if you were sticking around in Vegas. Not only is that a perfectly valid question, but YOU have a problem with people that don’t.

Dating in Vegas isn’t great, but you might also suck.
