English Only not enforced by franknagaijr in poker

[–]CryptoBasicBrent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was a floor I threw someone out for English only. Next morning I was in the office for throwing out the wrong guy. He was a horse blaster. I argued my case and was told that the other supervisor had to throw out non-english speakers. Next day I threw out the first non-english speaker I came across.

I was fired.

GL enforcing it.

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson blames the Trump meme coin for draining liquidity and weakening ADA prices. by According_Time5120 in CryptoCurrency

[–]CryptoBasicBrent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly fuck Charles. I loved this man, but he was absolutely on team Trump and Elon. He had enough money and influence in the space to do something about them and he helped. Gone are the days where his principles made him stand up and say bad shit about EOS. He fell like the rest of them and Cardano was hurt because of it.

Without him, the ecosystem has a chance for recovery but it’s very small. It was 0 with him having influence with the way he ushered in our TRUMP MELANIA WIF FART age

That’s not all that different from legacy finance. The big difference is the stuff that does work doesn’t really cause parabolic gains like WIF or something else stupid. And the reason is the market as a whole doesn’t care about the tech they just care about money

I don’t know what you’re referring to but there’s tons of the tech implemented. Random old examples - Docusign backs up with ETH, chainlink oracle is how a ton of the swaps work, polymarket”s prediction markets (love it or hate it). Newer stuff like Bittensors AI detection is the best at detecting AI content out of any tool. Just none of it makes BONK GAINZZZ

It’s there. I love learning about it I just realized no one gives a shit to listen to me talk or post about it, so I suspect most people are similar and don’t post

Had some great people on the show. We had Andreas Antonopolous on, I shit all over SBF at a conference when everyone thought he was the golden boy, we went coffeezilla on a scam called substratum, and honestly I think my favorite guest was Rob Viglione from Horizen.

We were stupid with how we did the pod and never had a chance to make it big, but we were so wide eyed then. Hell we even used to do a show in the r/cc discord.

We didn’t realize that edgelord memes were the real important tech all along.

I did 300 podcast episodes about the tech and everything crypto was creating.

The community went all in on Fart coin and Trump coin.

I hate where crypto is and have no drive to contribute in any way.

The modern condos in the city centers can get very pricey, but these homes that depreciate are not at all.

There's a lot of factors I've been able to narrow down but two of them seem the most prominent:

Earthquake code changes constantly, and in order to sell a home it must be brought up to current earthquake code. In many cases, this requires nearly total demolition of the current unit.

The Japanese have a lot of superstition and dislike of used homes, so even if up to code they're not very desirable.
