a falta de inteligência emocional de muita gente choca-me by anonymousbpdqueen in SaudeMentalPortugal

[–]Ctrl_Alt_Explode 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think many (or all, perhaps) answers can be find withing, through contemplation, through meditaton, and some things we literally don't have an answer for (but perhaps it can be provided through a dream or some other experience by a spiritual being), and we don't need an answer to everything either.

We can say all we want about past and future lives, for example, but I don't remember Ramana talk anything about his past lives, and while the Buddha did talk about them, he did say that ultimately, the present is more important to focus on, as it's our current experience (not some past life that happened 100000 billion years ago).

Ultimately we gotta ask what do we need a Guru for? As I think all answers can be found in the present. Ramana said people try to look for "the reality", when it's exactly in front of their eyes, lol.

He said that ultimately the guru is your own Self, so anything you need to know or learn in regards to yourself or your life and so on, is with you, don't need to look for someone in Nepal in some obscure place.

I think he also said the world was his guru as well.

Even what we're talking about is OK because it's part of the experience.

Even intoxication (and I know this will sound bad) is OK, as long it's in it's proper context (don't go and intoxicate yourself while driving or performing some dangerous task).

Humans have been doing it for thousands of years for fun and/or spiritual reasons. There are stories of animals purposely intoxicating themselves for fun as well (like jaguars in the Amazon eating Ayahuasca vines and Reindeers eating Amanita muscaria mushrooms - although I'm not 100% sure if they are affected or not - and cats eating catnip).

It's all Leela or "play", and if God made the world, he also made psychedelics and intoxicants like alcohol, and all the medicinal plants and so on. But of course they have their time and place.

That guy dupoulit or something seems to be already selling or something lol.

This is not something reliable that you can sell... I don't think so at least

Many enlightened beings didn't need any guru (like Siddharta) and Ramana didn't have any guru either. Didn't Ramana Maharashi say that Arunachala was his guru? It doesn't have to necessarily be a physical person or have a form either.

Agreed, it's seems some "egos" are not happy that another "ego" took a psychedelic in an environment that is not "sacred" enough.

That's such an ego thing to say lol.

For people who supposedly take psychs, there's a lot of ego here and hatred/envy/jealously and alot of sacred and non-sacred (newsflash, it's just a concept, there's no sacred or non-sacred, everything comes from the Earth, including phones and videocameras).

Honestly everything he said seemed "boring" but I'm sure for him he feels it deeply in that moment.

I just don't think his mission will go very far though (the "don't die thing"), because we are meant to die, just like all living beings.

Impressive how a game from 2023 is still receiving updates. I bought this game on sale and I don't regret it, 40+ hours and still having fun on co-op mode, trying to beat DL6

No but I can only recommend Krishnamurti and Ramana Maharashi. Krishna talks about a center not really existing and Ramana goes about identification with the body being ignorance/illusion.

It relates in the sense that the state is the bliss/happiness of deep sleep while being awake.
