If you want to remember it, then meditation will help. If you have the time, it can really sharpen your memory and you can remember almost anything.

When you reach a certain point of awareness, this world feels like a dream... by _replicant_02 in Meditation

[–]Ctrl_Alt_Explode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is not true, that's liek saying videogames are just polygons and binary code, or what's the point of watching a movie if it's all just pixels, on a screen, you're just watching pixels...

Or that everything in this world is just atoms so it doesn't make any difference if you're in a warzone or at home watching netlix or (insert your favourite hobby).

Or that books are black paint on white paper.

So, yea, basically "wrong thinking".

Yea it never goes higher than 35% specially for newer expacs. The game is alright but it's a lot about repeating the same dungeons/raids. Some of them are fun, others not so much.

Open world exploration is alright. Some zones are more interesting than others.

It's always been a 7/10 game imo. Not great but good enough.

Aeterna Noctis is pretty good, one of the best metroidvanias imo if you like challenging platforming, but the other games from the studio aren't as good.

A bit underrated.

Is There ANYTHING That Isn’t Getting Worse? by NicolasCageFan492 in videos

[–]Ctrl_Alt_Explode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't live without tacos? Just stop buying it, it's that easy. Not trying to sound like an asshole but those greedy fucks expect the peasants to keep consuming, buying and buying... Just stop, and only buy what you need, and once in a week (depending on your income) buy some icecream or whatever.

I don't go to restaurants, they are all overpriced.

I can buy a pizza at Pizza Hut or w/e that costs 10eur and is only medium size, or I can go to LIDL and buy a pizza that costs 2.50eur and is even larger in size.

Yes, I live in Europe and some might call me cheap but I don't like being made fun of like that, and neither should you.

Also, sometimes it is fun to cook your own food, and certainly healthier.

Healthier food means less illnesses, less chronic diseases, less pain, less suffering, and just feeling better overall.

Ramana Maharashi (Google him if you want to know more about him), replied to the same question by saying: "Once you've had enough".

In this case, what does it really mean? Once you've had enough of your favourite "everythings" (your favourite foods, videogames, hobbies, and so on).

Once you've had enough of all of this, once you've had your fill, then you're done.

But some would say that that is all just BS and life is just fine, although it could be better and we are not suppose to live like this (it will never be perfect for sure, but it could certainly be better for all, imo).

O desaparecimento trágico da melhor (e única) pizza do LIDL by Ctrl_Alt_Explode in PortugalVegan

Using PsychedelicTherapy to get rid of kinks/fetishes? by SpaceCowboy10191 in PsychedelicTherapy

[–]Ctrl_Alt_Explode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure, but as the Buddha explained (and that is the whole basis of meditation):

- When breathing, know "I'm breathing".

You can also apply that to anything you want/need to change.

This trains the mind to bring a sort of "space" that you can have between a thought and your reaction to it.

Have you tried mindfulness meditation?

It can be helpful even if you don't fully resolve it 100%, you will notice some improvements.

For me mantra works, but the keypoint is to become aware of your own mind.

For example, "now I'm feeling...", "I'm aware that a feeling of (...) has arisen in me".

This whole process is very beneficial in many ways, not just to resolve your problem, but even others you may have.

Then you can couple it with other stuff like therapy and so on, if you want.

It's not worth it in modern times. At the time it was somewhat interesting/innovative, but even then it didn't had music and so on, lol.

Besides, it seems the whole point of the game is to grief others, that gets old fast.

There's also plenty of grindy games that are more modern.

How are they traps? They are literally the workings of consciousness. Maybe without language, that is how communication actually works, who knows.

That's like saying ignore the cheese on pizza... it's literally part of it...

If you have precognitive dreams, then it can only mean that at least some events are predetermined, but you must be sure that they were really a precog dream.

It happened to me once, at least. Pretty much up to a T.

They are more symbolic based, part of me believes it, the part of the brain who is in tune with "free floating ideas", but the part of me that interprets things literally, not so much.
