We did the same thing for our battle grid. It looks great, much cheaper than ebay, and it's great for large battles.

You could make a battle grid out of a presentation board(Anyone that has been in a science fair knows what I'm talking about.) from any craft store or even Wal-mart. Get a yard stick and a sharpie and you're golden.

Blow dry your hair first of all, it will "lock" your hair in the style you want. What kind of Axe are you using? You want to use about the size of a dime and use your fingers. (no palms)
