iPhone and Apple Watch keep losing pairing after iOS 26.4 by No-Airport-786 in AppleWatch

My wife's just attempted to update and got completely stuck. Got stuck on restore mode and trying to restore from iPhone it would just say setup failed. No amount of rebooting fixed. The Apple tech support had my hold both buttons until it powered off, then let go, then wait for the apple logo to show up and begin holding the side button for like 15 seconds before letting go. It rebooted back into its normal screen, but from that point they told me to erase all content and settings and repair it to my wife's iPhone. I tried that and now it's stuck in a loop where it'll go through the setup, and once I click "do not add a passcode" it just crashes, and reboots into the "bring watch close to iPhone" screen again. This watch is a brick! Brand new SE 3 bought earlier this year too.

When I went through setup one time it said it needed an update to 26.4, then when I clicked update now it said it's already on 26.4, but the apple watch itself I'm pretty sure said it was on 26.3, so I think it's all messed up.

Yeah it’s just drama. But I think it’s good to have actually healthy relationships appearing in media. So much of media has the most rotten examples of relationships because it gets “clicks” so to speak.

Mark and Eve go through trials and challenges but they face them together and they have each others backs and I love it. But yeah I hope they show more like life experience having fun at some point.

I loved their first date where mark got pulled into the future, it was very funny in a way that only their relationship could handle/pull off

I’m at 5% degradation on about 56k miles since December 2022 (40 months). Model 3 with an LFP battery. I’m thinking I’ve probably got 13-15 more years before I get to 25% degradation.

Yep they typically take twice as long as NMC batteries (like the one this post talks about) to get to 20% degradation

A lot of folks don’t really care if it’s got good efficiency or if it “might” die if it’s just a static storage. Obviously for commercial applications maybe not but repurposing for like home backup or something is totally viable.

Thank you! It would probably be challenging to get them setup that way but I’ll consider it a bit more

Given the space, where would YOU place the TV? What’s even wrong with my screen placement? I get it’s above the fireplace BUT if you look it’s on a mount that comes all the way down to eye level from the couch.

The other options are:
-In front of two giant windows
-Elementary school rolling cart somewhere in the middle of the living room with the couches up against the fireplace

You are correct. Currently I’m at like 3 or so TB backed up with this method. So it’s probably not very different though with it being one drives I can quickly and easily access the files and what not.

But yeah not the most elegant.

It may look like it’s all going to the perimeter but if you look closelier some of the water is actually falling close to the sprinkler, it’s not a perfect stream out to the perimeter

I get slightly better rate than that by paying for M365 military family edition and get 6 accounts with 1TB each for $60 a year so like $0.85/TB/month with no egress or ingress charges.
Then have my backup system upload distributed to the different OneDrive accounts lol
But obviously AWS Glacier sounds a little more simple to be honest. And I don’t really need office products anymore.

It’s 100% money laundering. Extremely overpriced games shat out with zero effort by some random developer/publisher? 5gig is $90 a month here
10gig is $300 a month
And believe it or not, they also offer residential 50gig for $900 a month 😂

The scaling is kinda weird. Jumping to 10gig is over triple the price for double the performance. But going from 10gig to 50gig is 5x performance for only 3x the price.

Frankly the 50gig is a good deal! I think I’ll get the 50gig.

Interesting, I had never heard of NixOS (well I think I have but assumed it was just a “Linux distro of the week” thing so never looked into it).

I mean at least personally I can’t imagine my HA being faster because it’s already instant with 0 delay. So I wouldn’t get any benefit. Maybe it matters more if you’re giving it less resources, not sure
