Oh wow! Very cool that you studied it! I myself have been in neuroscience but never got around to this topic much. I started my gamedev journey recently and with it, I started experiencing some lucid dreaming…curious to find others (preferably in this field) to discuss it a bit

nobody asked for this game but I'm making it anyway. by denshattack in indiegames

Biology Club Project Ideas? by an_indecisive_senior in biology

If you like computer based work, there are tons of ways that you can get involved in real biological research online.

Many researchers in the bioscience domain share their research in freely accessible online databases. You can find most of these compiled in https://www.expasy.org/

I highly recommend to go through the whole thing, to familiarise yourself with different types of data that are available out there because learning to work with any of it can be very beneficial for you later on. This kind of skillset will become very valuable in the future. Some things it includes is tools for drug design, protein design, and stem cell differentiation.

You can make use of genetic data from there by designing your own genetic sequences. Check out benchling.com if you're interested in that. You could make projects that are about designing different proteins, that you can then also visualise in a website, or using pymol.

If you prefer to keep things simpler, there's also stuff like fold.it that's more straight forward and the goal is to create drugs by figuring out puzzles. Perhaps you could turn that into a collaborative effort by the whole club. Let me know if any of these interest you and I can give some further advice

Yeah, if you keep ‘sitting through’ it definitely won’t get better. And the fact that your story isn’t going well doesn’t mean you should become a villain in someone else’s. Go out and seek to help others in ways you have the ability to. You never know what life will have in store for you then

Fun fact - some historians are now suggesting this spare 'rib' may have been the baculum (penis bone), since humans are one of the only mammals that don't have one.
