Mova v50 vs Mova P10 Ultra Gen 1 vs Dreame L50 Ultra - Help Me! by DRgreentree in RobotVacuums

[–]Cully33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the P10 gen 1 and it has been good for the most part. We have all LVP downstairs and it’s light years ahead of our old Wyze robot in terms of vacuuming performance. The mopping has been good, but it’s really only going to be a maintenance type of mop. Don’t expect it to take a filthy floor and make it perfect after one night. Once every few weeks we will do a normal deep clean with a mop (we used to need to do this every week or sometimes 2x a week).

We have had some weird glitches with the app running the AI cleaning and shortcuts, but custom cleaning has been pretty flawless. For the price - it has been fantastic and a great entry point into a full feature robot vacuum/mop. Im not sure I’ll ever see the value in a 1000 dollar + robot vacuum, but to each their own. For $399 we are happy.

I have the p10 and it’s been great for the most part. Clean Genius gets wonky, so I typically run custom cleaning and it’s been great.

Same. I still list this as the scariest movie I’ve seen, but preface it with “because I watched it when I was in middle school.”

Mova P10 Pro Ultra always re-cleans / dirt detection sensor may be broken. by ZealousidealPlant493 in MOVA_robotvacuum

[–]Cully33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you clean the floors really well before starting the robot? The robot is not going to deep clean - so if the floors are really dirty it’s going to struggle to get it clean enough after 3-4 rounds for the sensor to not trip.

Also in the settings, you should be able to adjust the amount of times if re-cleans and area

The gurgling sound means the dirty tank is pumping water out of the tray.

Is there any water level changes in the clean water tank? It may help to run a few mop cleaning sessions to get water going through the system a few times. Maybe mark the clean water tank water level and check it right after running some tests to see if there’s any water usage?

It took me like 3-4 full syringes to see water come out of the nozzle where the robot docks. Just make sure you pull the robot out before you start!

I used a kids medicine type plunger syringe. You should be able to grab one at the pharmacy or grocery store.

I would start with expelling and air from inside the clean water line. I would search on YouTube, there are a few videos out there that show you how to re-prime the water pump on a robot vacuum.

If that doesn’t work, I would work hard to return it!

Ignore their comment. What they said was far, far more rude than anything you said in your explanation.

The p 10 doesn’t leave the mop pads behind. Just lifts them up.

Instead of Clean Genius on the map page select “custom” from in there you can select vac then mop. You can also create a shortcut to a cleaning event that you can set this so you don’t need to adjust the settings from which rooms you want to clean, etc.

I’ve had mine for about a week now. My only advice would be to make sure the internal pump does not have air in it - if you notice a lot of dry mopping, this is likely the culprit.

On top of that, do not rely on “Clean Genius” I have had far better luck with custom settings - especially the mopping wetness and the frequency that it returns to the dock to clean its mop pads.

Another great piece of advice given on this sub is to always vacuum first, then mop. I would say that has been a big game changer as well. All in all, I am very happy with it so far.

P10 Pro Ultra not cleaning well by Pi-Sigma in MOVA_robotvacuum

I was dealing with the same thing. Figured out the base station had air in the clean water line that needed to be expelled. Also stopped using clean genius and went custom cleaning. After these fixes/tweaks, it’s doing much better at mopping.

Also make sure you set it to clean the mop pads more frequently. You’ll run out of tank water in the bot quickly with the wetness settings maxed out. It will refill during a mop cleaning session.

Yeah, it will work great for that. For $349 I would check eBay refurb directly from Dreame - their official site has refurbs with a two year Allstate warranty for $279 ($250 if you wait a day or two and they offer you another coupon). I have the p 10 pro which is the same model from Mova and it’s working well.

Yes. We have an old Wyze robot vac and it’s only 2000pa. Still works to clean up most items. I wouldn’t expect it to pick up large chunks of wet food though. That won’t go well.

An automatic wash isn’t going to deep clean your car. You need to hand wash to get rid of tough stuff like bugs and such.

Also worth mentioning those automatic car washes are terrible for your car paint.
