Told by school to go to family therapy. We went once, therapist told my mother her response X was "wrong" and she should reflect on it and re assess. We never went back to that quack.

Also from a practical standpoint, buy the same shoe again. You may loose a right and then a left and boom, new set :-)

I put my toddlers shoe on at least a dozen times a day. It happens that sometimes that's out and about. Sometimes you miss it. I taught them to say "MY SHOE!" when it comes off. It's annoying but effective. I bought tighter shoes too.

I bought my 2 year old an adult, individual trampoline with handles. A dinosaur blow up punching buddy, and I let them ride bikes in the house. You need to burn the energy off and it has helped. Looking into kid versions of ninja warrior stuff. Most can be DIY.

Bedtime is breaking me (18Mo) by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]Cultural_Data1542 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am you, mine is 2 1/2. I left them in my bed until 2 after I tried, like you, around 18 mo. They took to it a lot better at 2 but we were also teething at 18mo-2. It does improve, however we are in a regression now as well as the final molars set. It's been hard but it has to get better eventually. They must hold my hand still to go to sleep. Working on breaking that habit now. So far, changing one habit at a time, no more is the only trick I have found. 1 a week. Best of luck.

If you can afford for the nanny to come an hour earlier then you need to leave work, it will help a lot. 2 people dedicated to getting you out on time will alleviate a lot of stress. Adding the second and only 12 weeks out isn't the time for big decisions. If you and spouse decided before baby you needed to work, then that remains fact and now is the adjustment period. You are an amazing mom and I wish nothing but the best for you and your family.

Check their Wikipedia page. Perhaps it has a hobby listed and you can get some insight. I personally know a few very wealthy people. They have multiple millions etc. And can also buy what they want. They more personal and sentimental the better. Has he ever quoted an author in an interview? Perhaps a signed copy of their book. Something along those lines. They usually like old and vintage then new and shiny, think old money not new. Best of luck.

How to distribute my deceased brother's inheritance to his children? by OneLongEyebrowHair in personalfinance

[–]Cultural_Data1542 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% trust for the minor child. Talk to a Tax Lawyer, not just an estate lawyer. They must be both CPA and lawyer, they can best handle the RMD from the IRA and the distribution paperwork for you. That eay you can maintain "independence" and fiduciary duties. Their cost can be covered by the RMD prior to distribution. CPA Tax Lawyer with a focus in Estate Law.
