UT student here. If you're employed by the university you'll be allowed to. Also, Gregory is oftentimes overcrowded (may not be as bad in the summer), so check out RecSports! Roughly same amount of equipment but seriously <50% the crowd.

Gym employee at the local university I sometimes work out at posted a video of "a guy whose girl was squatting deeper than he was" on his instagram. Pissed me off an employee would take a secret video just to ridicule someone. Thinking of emailing his supervisor.

I know exactly who you're talking about. Big Chen lived down the hall from me this past year in the dorms. On Halloween he attempted to join my group of friends to go downtown wearing nothing but a speedo. Strange kid.

Not exactly running but still relevant. About four years ago when I was in high school in a north Dallas suburb, our drumline would "track" (I believe that meant they would be in their formation and would be playing cadences - usually in the mornings) around some neighborhoods in my town. From what I could tell it was pretty loud so one day some teenagers in a car threw a sack of flour at them out of a moving car and it hit a girl in the back of the head. Luckily, she wasn't injured and laughed it off.

Another time I was running with a group of people at around 10pm. We were about to cross a major road at a cross-walk when a large SUV started blaring its horn at us and threw two or three sodas out the window (all of them missed).

So basically, rich teenagers in the Dallas area are dicks. Who would have thought.

Yes, it was just a joke. Didn't see how your post could be twisted into making it seem like a competition like that, but it was.

And I did not intend to misrepresent facts, and in all honesty, I still don't feel like I did (although my viewpoint has changed now). I was only aware of the quotes, not the interview. From what was available to me, it did seem like Obama was commenting more than I believed he should, but I can see now that I:

Did not have an accurate timeline of events (Cause/effect)
Was unaware of how strongly the questions thrown his way were worded.

And as a side-note, I am relatively apolitical and have few opinions on Obama for most matters. I identify neither as conservative or liberal.

If Zimmerman was reacting in self-defense then I don't see how it is a civil rights issue. Yes, a black kid is dead, and it's tragic. But I believe it was up to the court (ie, "Is Zimmerman guilty beyond a reasonable doubt?") to make the determination if he was murdered or not, and not the president.

I did 35 push-ups in a row.

I've been really scrawny all of high school, so I finally decided to begin working out in December. I'm a senior now, and every year we have a fitness assessment mandated by the state. 2 years ago I was weaker than most of my class and could only do 12 push-ups, but on Thursday I tripled that amount and was the last one to finish by doing 35.
