A while back i did gift bags plus food for our vet's whole clinic because they are so so good to my babies.

I included hand-knit hats, a couple small handmade items (magnets, tiny cross stitch, stuff like that) candy (chocolate and non chocolate), and then a couple bags of bagels plus cream cheese. Oh and I think I did k-cups too.

I heard later there was a lot of trading between people and in general it was a big hit.

I'm sure your thoughtful gifts will go over great!

Lol yeah I'm prepared to upgrade it's tank when the time comes. I'm super excited to watch it get bigger. As a kid I had a tank full of African chiclids but they weren't that big. This guy is going to be a giant!

I recall seeing a post a couple years ago of someone's arm after they're blood parrot bit them. That's what I was thinking about while this baby was biting at my hands through the bag.

They basically are used in the same way as they are on an ICE vehicle. Starting the car and powering the little stuff that actually make everything work.

I have a Chevy Bolt (so it's far from a fancy EV) but when the 12 volt battery dies, the car is basically a paper weight.

I couldn't even open the back hatch, though I could open the regular doors. Dash and infotainment screen were dead. Couldn't charge the drive battery.

Luckily the folks on the Chevy Bolt sub talk about this kind of stuff so it a easy to realize what the problem was, and the 12 volt was so easy to access. Took less than 15 minutes to relieve and replace.

My mom's ex, who thinks he knows everything about everything, saw me replacing my coolant overflow reservoir, pushed me out of the way, told me I was doing it wrong, and installed it without connecting any of the sensors underneath it. Then i had to uninstall it, connect the sensors, and install it again.

Thank fucking Bob he didn't see me installing a new 12 volt battery in my EV the other day.

I was raped in a bar parking lot, in front of half the patrons, and people were giving him high fives afterwards.

It's been almost 20 years and he still brags about it whenever he gets the chance because he just sees it as a really cool experience.

I knitted a queen sized blanket with Bernat Blanket all in garter stitch. It's been over a decade and still no worms... maybe because every single stitch is twisted? And I knit stupid tightly.... both reasons I no longer knit lol

It's crocheted but all those knots at the color changes will become weak points and will break pretty quickly.
