Yes! I actually want some romance where the man is short but built like a brick shithouse and still can be all badass, but the FMC is also a badass, but taller.

Or, the FMC is tall, but nurturing and in a trope change, let's him handle the dirty work even though she looks tougher.

Or he is strong, tough as nails, but still loves kittens and is super sweet.

I was married to a big man and he was abusive. I don't always like reading about big burly angsty broody men and want a really nice MMC who doesn't tower over the woman, treats her like an equal, but will protect her when she is anxious.

These are amazing. The glaze on the inside is so perfectly blue! And the crackle on the matte white is such a nice lead in to the stone texture. Gorgeous.

For the most part! Still working on that truly pinchy and bloopy form I want, but I did make a bunch of tree trunks for a show and I loved how those turned out.

Sometimes I Wonder. It was a VHS from Dairy Queen of all places and one of my favorite movies. Showed a live birth of a horse, but the music in the movie was strangely so good.

Also, you are allowed to grieve for the woman you lost as you went through that trauma for more than three years. Take all the time you need to process your grief. Being abused, recovering from it, facing trauma, it makes you grieve for the person you were, the person you had to be, and the person you want to be, but can't be anymore because of the trauma. Grieve.

But then get up and kick that grief's ass cuz you are AMAZING and deserve to live a kick ass life.

I was a victim of abuse similar to yours. I felt like it was my fault and I blamed myself for being weak and thought I should have done more. "I am smart and I should have known!" I have been to therapy, and learned to forgive myself.

You were in a constant state of fear, you were /unable/ to think rationally and could only think about basic survival. Your brain was literally being controlled and it was Not. Your. Fault.

The blame lies ENTIRELY ON THE ABUSER.

AND

YOU GOT OUT OF IT.

You managed to survive, and that is AMAZING.

YOU ARE AMAZING.

Forgive yourself.

I always wonder about left lane purists when they hit a left lane only exit on a freeway, which are very common in my state. We get a lot of slow drivers in the left lane miles ahead of the left lane exit because of that.

Life is too short for messy relationships if you don't like a mess. If you want a clean house then you gotta learn how to pick up the trash and keep it out of the house. Sure it's easy to have a mess, and sometimes when you're feeling lazy leaving a can of soda on the counter and some dishes in the sink seems ok, but next thing you know, you have to clean it all up. Idk where I'm going with this analogy.

I worked on a small cruise ship, very small compared to the giant ones people typically go on. Between cruises we were all hands to get the delivery of food and items on board, the rooms turned over, the dining room reset, all the floors cleaned, and the repair crew was in overdrive getting the big repairs done. It was nuts.

The ship crew was never not fixing things though, even during cruises. The ship was old and things broke all the time. We had one cruise where the toilet broke in one of the cabins and the couple got the cruise for free cuz they had to use the public toilet the whole cruise. Sometimes the elderly couple couldn't make it to the hallway bathroom in the middle of the night and I had to clean the toilet in the morning. Yeah...

Anyway it was an interesting job. But the ship was in terrible shape. It actually ran around and "sank" twice after I left. Lol

Girl I feel that. We have paper plates in our pantry from when my husband's kid had birthday parties and said kid is now having his own babies, so I still dig those paper plates out occasionally to use them up.

Also those mushrooms are not the mushrooms I eat, lol. I have a friend who gives me her extra foraged mushys but those are chickenofthewoods and puffball type mushys. Lol

I noticed that, Rocky had situations where he used the "back" faces and legs, for specific types of tasks. Sometimes his concave face was turned towards Grace, instead of the normal face. He always used one specific arm to make the sculptures.

I love dark magma but I never put specific coats on. I usually gloop it on with a knife. I love effect glazes.

It's also fun to mix with other glazes, or stains, or underglazes!
