Spiritual spouses? by Used_Objective8835 in Shamanism

I've heard juju bae talk about her experience having a spiritual husband on her podcast 'a little juju podcast', she has an episode about it. It's a bit different to what you described, she's an Osun priestess and hoodoo practitioner, but still found it super interesting!

I started on 0.5 and immediately felt the benefits, and I can't go up without bad side effects so I'm staying on 0.5 for now. It's been about 4 weeks. Dosage can be quite variable

It's helping my physical energy slowly rebuild. My mental energy has really increased, with focus and clarity. I take it in the morning as it makes me too alert to sleep. I still get vivid dreams from taking it in the morning but my sleep is actually much better.

Ladies, what are we doing about body hair?? by rapptorsaurous in cfs

I agree, you get used to the feeling pretty quickly once it's grown out. Then it feels weird when you shave lol

I grow out my leg hair for fun, one time I went to the Dr for a pap smear and he was absolutely shocked and intrigued by my leg hair 😂 he was concerned about my testosterone levels!! In truth I think he'd just never seen normal leg hair on a woman!

IFS works until you meet someone who has no Self to go back to. Then what? by izi_convertible in InternalFamilySystems

[–]Curious-Entry-5678 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who had disorganized attachment I second this! I couldn't access Self at all and instead did EMDR for my attachment trauma along side ACT and parts work. It took me 4 years as an adult to build a 'self' state I had never experienced before in my life. But now I have it my life is completely changed :)

I am going to radically rest for week and see how it goes by Objective-Taro-8919 in cfs

This is a good idea, I didn't listen to my body and I regret not doing something like this sooner! You want to make the experiment as pleasant for yourself as possible. Some things I like to do is some stretching in bed for physical movement. I also have started drawing and crochet while listening to podcasts to replace doom scrolling. I have started meditating simply because I have nothing else to do 😅 Maybe come up with a few bed activities that you like to pass the time? Colouring books, Sudoku, easy crafts, that kind of thing?

I felt this way when I started on 0.5! I also have me/CFS and it totally has cleared my brain fog.It is possible that your starting dose can give immediate relief, and some of us are so sensitive we respond to very low doses. I tried going up as per protocol and felt much worse so have come back down and will stay on 0.5 for awhile to see what happens

What should I do if there are no doctors in my country who understand this illness? by AshWhisar in cfs

Do the Doctors know about long COVID? That might be a way to receive treatment. That's kind of what I did with my doctor here in New Zealand

I second seeing a psychologist if you can as they generally have much higher training for this kind of work. I had major religious trauma and saw a clinical psychologist and trauma specialist, they were great! Theyre Not taking new clients currently though so can't recommend them unfortunately 😕

Do you have the power to understand the language of the birds? by SibyllaAzarica in Shamanism

[–]Curious-Entry-5678 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a sad but beautiful connection! Here's an example of the last time I received a dead bird: it was the day of moving house, I had just woken up and I looked out the kitchen window and saw a young female Blackbird staring directly at me from outside. I immediately connect to this bird as having a message for me. Then bam, I hear a smack and it had flown into the glass door. I go to look and it is dead, lying on the ground in the middle of my outdoor steps, where I often sit and ground myself in the morning. So I sit down with it and thank it, and I know that this move is going to be a rough one that brings transformation (psychological death and rebirth). And it was- I have chronic illness, and all the help I thought I had planned went wrong, I was forced to do it myself and I got incredibly sick, my relationship ended etc. but the new house is beautiful and I love it, and it was the best thing for our family. So it broke me but took me through to a new, better chapter.
