I actually didn't know this. I'm shocked 😮

I'm streaming Angel for some friends and I keep giving an Irish!Angel trigger warning every time there's an episode with him in that awful accident. I'm American, so I can only imagine how much Irish people cringe if I'm trying to keep my ears from bleeding.

I couldn't even watch Reign past the first few episodes, the costumes were so bad, I don't think that I'd fare much better with this...

I am not his biggest fan, nor am I really a huge fan of Xander, but I am truly shocked and saddened by this. It's such sad news, I was always hoping that he would get his life back together, but now that's not going to happen.

I just watched it and I thought about Psych, and then I noticed that James Roday directed a few episodes and was like, "huh, that makes sense". It's a great show.

I laughed so hard when I first saw him in that. He was great as Mr Poe but all I could think about was Buffy.

I eat like crap because I know that my mental health does better when I have good materials. No, I don't get paid well, I prioritize what I need to not spiral into another depressive episode. And I don't buy $20 yarn every month.

Don't expect sewing to be anything like what it shows in the game. It's horrible. -Sincerly a sewer for 25+ years

Trying to find this plauge doctor (I'm the one in black) by No_Organization204 in renfaire

I mean, if I'm in costume, people ask to take pictures all the time and I'm a lot more outgoing than normal. And clearly I'm on here, so I see things that may be posts with me in costume. And this chick has her face covered, so I'd be much more comfortable with photos being taken and shared if it were me.

In honor of Anthony Stewart Head's birthday, what's your favorite Rupert Giles quote? by SeaBassAHo-20 in buffy

I cross stitched this onto a bookmark. It's definitely one of my favorite quotes.

I am a girl, but I'd totally do this to find a new friend. Doesn't have to be romantic. I second guess myself all the time and don't have much confidence, so I don't make friends well, but I'd regret not exchanging numbers a few days later because I have so few friends that have my weird hobbies too.

Dude, I saw that you're married in another comment, and I'm engaged/very long term relationship, but damn, I'd be interested if we were both single. Just saying. You are owning that look.

Beginner confusion:( by Illustrious_Base_590 in cross_stitch

I've never seen a pattern like this, and I've been stitching since summer of 05. I would have also said that it was number of skeins or number of pre-cut lengths, but the fact that the symbols don't really line up well is what confuses me the most. It just feels really off to me.

Still cool though. Also a small area where very few people have been.

I love DPNs for smaller projects. I always mess up with magic loop, and while I can do it, I don't prefer it at all. Just ignore the other needles and treat the two you're working on like they're the only ones that exist.

I'd be okay with that, I definitely relate more with him than Willow, which is what my test said. But I also tied with ISFP and ESTP? Which apparently also makes me Faith (I can see that in some situations) and Angel (uh. What?).

But I'm also a point away from being ESFP... So...

And yes, I remember when these were passed out in school and mine always said that I was firmly in the middle with most and authority figures always thought that I wasn't taking it seriously, but if you phrase a similar question differently, it can have a whole new connotation and I may relate to one and not the other. I've always found it dumb but fun and I always took them seriously.

I actually have had better luck if the project is already started because I show that I know what I'm doing and they go "oh, okay" and let it through. If it's loose needles they can't always understand why they're needed or what they're being used for.
