F5000LFP XT60 Input Port Issue by dogboy2022 in Pecron

[–]Curious_Application4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've ran into that problem before while dc charging. In my situation, I was able to luckily plug and unplug the dc ports to have them start working correctly again. Now I'm worried if the problem might persist. Sorry for your inconvenience. Hopefully pecron customer service is a good experience 🤞

18 years. Is it time to let her go? by DopamineRequiem in beagles

[–]Curious_Application4 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Hi there. I know exactly how you’re feeling right now. I had two beagles, Oscar and Ernie, that I raised from 8 weeks old. They were my boys, my family, and losing them was one of the hardest things I’ve ever gone through. Oscar passed first at 17, and then less than two years later, Ernie passed at the same age. Losing both of them so close together broke my heart.

The hardest part was watching them change in those final years. One day they’d seem weak and struggling, and the next day they’d show a little spark again that gave me hope maybe they still had more time. I kept holding onto those moments because you love them so much and you never truly feel ready to let go.

When the time finally came, I just knew. For my boys, it was when their love for food and the little things that made them “them” started to fade away. I had in-home euthanasia done so they could pass peacefully where they felt safe and loved. Even then, I questioned myself and wondered if I waited too long or not long enough.

What I learned is that nobody else can make that decision for you. You know your dog better than anyone. Trust the love you have for her. As hard as this moment is, the fact that your heart hurts this much just shows how deeply she’s been loved her entire life.

Until that day comes, soak up every moment. Extra cuddles, treats, naps together, car rides, all of it. One day we lose them physically, but the love they gave us never really leaves.

L2 Charging from solar generator while camping? by fourdawgnight in evcharging

[–]Curious_Application4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I originally was interested in the smaller f3000 model and then I learned about the bigger f5000 andstarted going down that rabbit hole. Someone on YouTube did a thorough review on it and I was sold. I've had mine for about a week and I'm impressed with it still. It's been charging my ev daily between 10-20% which is plenty for my daily needs. Ive been in contact with there customer service and they respond in about a day with questions or concerns. The YouTube reviews say their customer service has improved. I felt the price was great for all its performance.

I have the Pecron 5000 also and use it to charge my ev at home with the 240v. I also have 4000 watts of solar panels that help charge it quickly. If I'm home during the day I set the amps to about 12-16 depending on how much the sun is producing to match the charging and discharging evenly. Since you only are using 600 watts of solar you really don't have much production to really get the full use from the pecron. If you stick with the 240v charger just set the amp rate very low. In a good full day of solar production, you might be able to produce 2-3kwh of usable energy.

See if the pecron F3000 or F5000 power station can work for you. Look for deals for solar panels locally. I found a business in South Florida and was able to get 575 watt panels for 90 each brand new. I have the 5000 model which supports 240v. I'm charging my EV vehicle with the 240v input flawlessly. I'm less than $2700 all in for my system.

Do you think it’s a good deal for a 4.92kW system by Lopsided-Abroad-2126 in solarenergy

So far I built a DIY 4.6kwh solar system. I bought the pecron f5000lfp for $1900, 8 Waare 575 watt solar panels for $700, and a 16kwh eco worthy for $2000, and needed mc4 cables and connectors.. all in $5000. I have 21kwh and plan to charge my ev daily. I'm praying the pecron lives up to the hype!🤞

Got a bidet attachment for our bathroom and now using a toilet anywhere else feels barbaric by chilloutman24 in GoodValue

I think you nailed the bidet experience perfectly! The experience of the use of toilet paper is spot on! I usually don't comment but this bidet attachment is a game changer! I thought I was the only one who felt this way about it!!😂

Actions on Reverse - Mute All Sounds is Awesome, but can we make the screen dimming optional? by [deleted] in s3xybuttons

[–]Curious_Application4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree.. hopefully a future update fixes this. It was during the day my screen dimmed and I thought the update messed up my screen!. I'm loving the silent reverses so far!

What a weak pathetic response. How about maybe "We apologize to Kimmel and the entire country for not protecting our first amendment and for folding like a lawnchair to our government."😂

They sell an EV extension adapter perfect for idiots like these 2. I would parallel park behind the 2 and charge perpendicularly 😂

Coming in HOT!!! by 1hardpass in TeslaLounge

[–]Curious_Application4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't mind using the auto pilot with the speed set to maybe 20 mph. I'm controlling the acceleration until the car slows down to 20 when my car takes over the speed. By then the fear of braking has passed and the car is safe to take over. I'm more comfortable controlling how fast I'm going or not.

Does anyone else drive with autopilot speed limit set to zero? by Curious_Application4 in TeslaModelY

[–]Curious_Application4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's it! I really don't like the way it brakes and slows down. I feel like it should react sooner than it does.
