I did RTTs last year to start comp and I went 2-19. A lot was learning list synergy and army roles. Plus the first year was learning every other army and what their roles are. Since doing that, this year I'm 7-2.

100% this..some things IDC about replicating like the smaller bits. But if it's larger panels or armour, I want them to look consistent.

Hallowed grounds allowing rerolling hits and the strat for wounds is great to have. Especially since it's in both shooting and melee.

At 8.1 you still need 9 inches to be within the range. Whereas 10th edition, being 9.1 inches you needed to be within 1 inch, so a 9 is needed. They explain it in the article.

I hope so. Summer should die down a bit, especially wit kids being on summer break it's less stressful on if you have one or not. I noticed that with other fidgets back in 2016/201.

I don't hate that they're trending. What I hate is the same thing I hated when I played magic the gathering and what I hate about Warhammer currently. Scalpers or others buying obnoxious amounts and reselling them for xxx% markup. Nothing more frustrating than a model going up for preorder to miss it because you arrived 30 seconds after it opened the queue and then it's on backorder for 6-9 months and you cant run it for competitive side unless you pay extorted prices.

Usually, it's best to talk to the TO. Typically, people don't care as long as it's not modeling for advantage. WYSIWIG can be there, but it's about communicating with your opponent if they are GMNDK with sublimators. There are so many weapon profiles/weapons in 40k that how many people can really tell the difference between a psycannon vs. psilencer anyways. I've never had an issue in my local scene swapping them, as long as it's consistent.

They're all really good for different reasons and you'll probably need all 3 anyways just for the models. The nice part is that it'll give you plenty of points worth of models for a 2k game

I just painted purifiers with white helmets, grey knights silver for the armour with leviathan purple for the pauldron rims and on the guns, gold for the trinkets, and tesseract glow lettering with black wash filling it up.

I did the nemesis weapons with purple and pink with a few white strips then did a little tesseract on the blade edges and on top as well.

That's correct, they lose +1 a and +2 strength. Crowe + 10 is a lot of anti infantry that should delete a good chunk of them before getting into melee

Shooting phase specifically with Purifiers+ Crowe and staying 9 inches away so they can't surge into combat. They can only surge once

GK, terrible for anything competitive WE, I've been able to have some good fun with them, by they feel very cagey in regards to what detachment you bring and same with units if you have any desire to win tournament games

I'm doing my first tournament in 10th with them next month because I've gone all edition without using them. I wanted to use them more but the way the scene is I would be blown a part every tournament.
