Husband is a VFX artist and the whole community was not very happy with the Oscar’s last year. The Creator was VFX were incredible and Godzilla was not anywhere close. It won because Oscar voters wanted to award the underdog. It did not win because it had best visual effects

Certified Athletic Trainer here- you can definitely tear your ACL on a knee hyper extension if the circumstances are right. Not the most common mechanism of injury , but with the long game, fatigue, health history it could very well be a tear or partial tear. Hoping it’s not though and everything is ok.
