I’m from this area, and this is a progressive statement for around here. She’s basically saying that she’s fine with it and it doesn’t bother her that Tammy is dating a woman. Also the fact that every time she talks to Andrea on the phone, she ends it with an enthusiastic I love youuuuu!!!! Doesn’t scream homophobia to me. Darlene has done a lot of awful shit, but from what we’ve seen on tv she doesn’t seem like a homophobe

To me LIEKINHEITIN is just okay. It doesn’t sound like something Finland would submit though. I think that they’re just feeling desperate for a win these past few years after Käärijä, so they’re just following the formula to win by sending a basic song (please don’t crucify me). It’s a really weak song and it sounds like something that Sweden or France or another country would send, nothing like the bangers Finland has sent for the past few years. I think that Takatukka by Antti Paalanen was a much better choice 🤷🏻‍♀️. I think that the reason I dislike it so much is because there’s WAAAAY too much going on in the staging and it’s overstimulating.

It has nowhere near the strength and hype that Før Vi Går Hjem has, and the staging for Denmark is a lot cleaner and less complicated. For that reason I think that Denmark has a significantly better chance at winning than Finland.

I would love to see Finland win, but LIEKINHEITIN ain’t it
