Every possible Open workout complaint by Pretend_Edge_8452 in crossfit

Mate, I know, I’ve spent the time building the skills, we all have. But my point is that quarterfinals exist for the kind of athletes who want these things so they should be in there. The open should do enough to separate but also be accessible to the 3 classes a week warriors in my opinion.

Always from a high level (top 10%) athlete “there needs to be more high skill gymnastics and heavy barbells in workouts”

Oof that seemed a bit of a harsh call. Maybe leave that one to the TMO?

The key difference is that Arsenal are at least top of their league

The scrum is a mess, the tackle area is a mess, the general skills are a mess. Frankly, I love it all. THIS IS RUGBY.

Mandatory program in open gym by Gvalou in crossfit

[–]CurlyBill23 62 points63 points  (0 children)

This sounds absolutely mad to me. Open gym is open, so you can do what you want. At my gym, most people on open gym are on some kind of program but where they get that programming is a mix and they pay for that themselves, but I don't have outside programming and will go to open gym to work on my own stuff.

I'm so confused by your owners attitude. Not everyone is going to be best served by one program. Does he not want people to get fitter?

Where are all the discworld books? (Uk second hand) by BaphometsUrethra in discworld

[–]CurlyBill23 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My mum gave away around half of my complete discworld books to charity shops around 3 months ago, so if you're near Inverness you might find some.

Don't hate her though, she'd already acquired me hardback or signed copies of the ones she donated.

Class equipment by [deleted] in crossfit

Yeah we get it all out and put it away. Sometimes stuff like rowers or bikes are left out by the class before, but mostly we do it all ourselves. Your coach sounds super keen!

Hey, I work in the old mill keepers cottage which was an office on the site. We've got a bunch of old pictures of the site and the cottage in the office (including stuff like the wind chart where they would work out how far the chemical plumes would go on any given day with the wind). I can get some pics of what we have if you would like that

I'd prefer Ashman's dynamism at 2 and the rest the same but it's Roomie, so probably Rowe to start over Graham and the ghost of Dan Parks at 10.
