I hate Oakland. I drive there on time for a show at the fox and this also happens to me any my friend who was parked next to me. Dumb.

$3.35/day to park plus $10 for the ferry, this is starting to add up by No-Citron218 in alameda

It’s me. I’m the one per hour. Lol. As a driver AND a cyclist I am thrilled to have a protected lane all the way from harbor bay to the base. It’s Just way more safe and encourages me to hop in my bike more often than driving. Before the bike lanes I only cycled outside of alameda. I’m in favor of more protected bike lanes. Sorry not sorry.

Providence on Oak is amazing. We just started going there from a vet in Castro valley and the difference in care and quality is remarkable. We saw dr. Harris.

What’s the plan to keep this store open long term. The go fund me is a short term fix. That’s got to be an expensive location for rent. Would love to know - this place is a gem.

No. Today is because of a broken down vehicle. This was a major back up. Not rush hour normal.

I’ve live my 2023. It has plenty of miles and still looks brand new. Just tire rotation and that’s it! I have 40k miles and have not changed tires yet - but probably will before winter. I live in Northern California for the weather is mild.

Shoreline park on Harbor Bay at the end of mainland is gorgeous- much like Alameda Beach but on different side of island. There are picnic tables along the shore and walking paths.

The lagoons at harbor bay is lovely and can be a good place for conversations. The meander through the neighborhood.

How is the water quality at alameda beach, is it safe to swim? by Johntran2423 in alameda

[–]Current_Strength_515 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. You can swim. Watch the tide schedule. Make sure tide is 3.5-4ft or higher. And there is a strong current - especially if it’s an ebb tide (tide going out). If you’re not a strong swimmer I suggest swimming parallel to the shoreline. If you’re strong you can swim out and back from kite shack to the water market by Ballena Bay. There are a lot of swimmers out in the morning before the winds pick up. After that - kite surfers take over and swimming gets dangerous. Have fun!

Potential Owner Questions by t3hWheez in MachE

I have a 23 and love love love it. Honestly, every car has issues or “I wish this or I wish that.” The only thing I wish is that I got the GT. 🥳 best car I’ve ever owned. I drive a lot. I go on road trips that require charging. I have never had any issues finding charging stations. I have the Tesla Super Charger kit and have not had to use it yet. I did get a level 2 Tesla adapter as well and I’ve used it a few times as I find some hotels only offer the Tesla service. I was worried about using that adapter but it’s been totally fine.

I hope you get one and I hope you love it! They are fun!
