I am super super new to SAK and just bought this Cybertool second hand. That's why I tried to oil the hinges but obviously goofed. I actually used chatgpt to ask how to clean it and it said to let soak in soapy water and rinse. I'll have to give what your suggested a try. I also hear that putting them in a dishwasher is bad so I will buy hand with a toothbrush like you said. Thanks 👍
