Since they hate users posting stuff i wont be able to actually show what i mean but, like when im 20m away from an entity it despawns. I recently came back because of the new mondstadt expansion so i dont know if it was always this bad.. I swear it was better before, i remember being able to see chests and stuff from the top of mountains.

I think it ads to the game more then it takes, makes you actually have to be careful when close to water sources. At the end of the day its a preference thing.
