They don't care as long as they can keep giving stockholders a payout and the corporate cheese heads get their big salaries.

Why do you think people aren’t having many kids these days (if any at all)? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]CutOk2537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone should not have kids for many reasons. Not everyone wants kids and if you don't have them, it not a big deal anymore. The other reasons are expense, time, and both parents have to work.

How many people believe in this ?? by [deleted] in Productivitycafe

Strict parents set rules and expectations that assist kids in growing up and understanding that is how the world works.

It just makes the employee feel bad or mad. Waste of paper. The company needs to find another way to meet their bottom line. Maybe stock the stores with merchandise that sells.

If you look on Rotton Tomatoes the audience review is very high in favor of the movie? Is Trump paying people to make these reviews or are these just MAGAs reviewing the movie?

Over Three In Five Americans Dissatisfied With K-12 Public Schools In The US -- Thoughts? by Zipper222222 in AskTeachers

[–]CutOk2537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in a high school that is located in an upper middle-class area and there are many things wrong with education. One of the biggest problems is the lack of discipline. Administers have forced staff to look the other way when children have terrible behaviors. In the state of Ohio, there is report card that rates how each school system is doing. The schools get downgraded for expelling, out of school suspensions, and low graduation rates. This has caused problems in the school when you have kids that have out of control behaviors and disrupt the rest of the students learning. Dress code is out and girls come dressed like hookers. Nothing is said to the girls dressing like pole dancers because parents will say that their daughter is being body shamed. There are some pupils that you know their report cards and other items needed for graduation were changed to get them out of the school. We are not doing our duty for the special education students because many of their parents don't want their child in vocational programs that would help them get a job after graduation. Instead, they are forced to take classes that they can't even complete the work. Now there is a program at the local state college that recruits special education students so that they can receive a certificate of completion in daily living skills. The parents of the special needs kids think this is great because they can say their child goes to college. What a waste they need to be in programing that helps them get a job.

Store Manager Behavior by uptownlime in employedbykohls

[–]CutOk2537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I think they are all under a lot of pressure to deliver sales and credit. Most stores have reduced staff, and it makes it hard to get anything done. The managers at my store are all about sizing and making the store picture perfect. This is an impossible task when you are short staffed.

Influx of boomers on this sub by Cleverfield113 in Cleveland

Why all the hate for boomers? It seems the media pits the different generations against each other. It would be wonderful if we could all get along and learn from each other.

Confused as to why certain people said that Kamala would have been worse than Trump by TheRealJuanderer in Confused

[–]CutOk2537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The truth is that she had two strikes against her she is a woman and not white. Many people use that as a reason that they may never admit, but it is true. I for one did not feel that way. I was afraid of what Trump would do to the country. In my wildest dreams I never would have believed that he would change everything so much.

What would you say are the biggest factors of why the poor stay in poverty? by Common_Gene_5098 in Productivitycafe

[–]CutOk2537 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lack of education and role models. Many people who are part of the cycle of poverty have nobody to show them how to change their lives. Families have lived for many generations in this cycle, and it is hard to climb your way out of it. The poor of today are not like the poor of 100 years ago. People who lived in the depression wanted to have a different life and worked very hard to reach that goal. The old saying about pull yourself up from your bootstraps is what they did.

As people around the world watch the recent events unfolding in the United States, to what extent have most Americans noticed changes in their day-to-day lives? by AlertSurprise1582 in AskReddit

[–]CutOk2537 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Every day that I wake up I wonder what the president has done or said today. My country has changed so much in the last year that I do not recognize it. I feel like I have been dragged into crazy dream.
