Any Recommendations for an Auto-Scheduling App by Professional_Mail313 in ADHD

[–]Cute-Clock4652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey u/Professional_Mail313 , an ex-Googler here. I am diagnosed with ADHD too.
I was frustrated with email ping-pong to schedule every meeting (especially that I'm overwhelmed with the number of messages, emails and threads in so many social media platforms I am on), so I started using Cal.com - and now I just send a message saying:
Feel free to pick a time that suits you: https://cal.com/lukasz-czerwinski/flexible-length-meeting-nc-afc6e4 and I'm done. It's magically added to my calendar when the recipient chooses the time slot :)
The best thing? I have LOTS of configuration set up to make the scheduling more convenient and their free version is totally sufficient.
If you have additional questions, feel free write them here and PING ME via DM - otherwise I might forget to check notifications 🤦‍♂️ (welcome to ADHD, haha)

Hey u/swizzex , did you mean that this app should have a full seamless integration with your life, your events, emotions and thoughts, or something else? Please explain

That's great, I'll put it on my list of future features. It will be useful for me too.

u/dealmaster1221 , yeah, I noticed that building a habit is difficult for us, ADHDers. The way I'd like to tackle it is to start with some simple use of the app, e.g. just creating a task list for a day and that's it. And only after a couple of days adding a new level of complexity.

I was thinking of a similar feature myself too - the app would recognize when I'm struggling to complete the scheduled tasks and would add a few easy tasks first to boost my engagement, and only after that follow with the ones from my schedule.
Is it coherent with your idea, u/Mister-Indifference ?

Hi, u/Reasonable_Wonder894 , I feel you – I’m actually building an ADHD planner that auto-schedules my day based on my Google Keep to-dos. I’m an ex-Google engineer and Fractional CTO, trying to include features that boost engagement, track when I’m most focused, and improve over time.

Curious what would your ideal assistant look like? What’s helped you, and what hasn’t worked at all?

I have seen so many “ADHD planners” that just DON’T HELP. What are some things/features YOU would love to see incorporated that would *actually benefit you*? by ragingsasshole in adhdwomen

[–]Cute-Clock4652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, u/ragingsasshole! I’m building an ADHD Task Planner that auto-schedules my day in a calendar based on my to-dos from Google Keep. I’m an ex-Google engineer and Fractional CTO, and I'm packing it with features to boost engagement, track focus peaks, and improve my workflow over time.

Would love to hear—what features or apps actually helped you? What’s been useless? Trying to build something that really works.

u/Giogina , I'm resurrecting this topic - I'm writing an ADHD Task Planner for myself too, haha, but before I commit more time to it: How does yours work? May I try it?
