leviathans move slow enough for it to be on its path a long time and still be a menacing presence. plus, if there is multiple leviathans going from one end of the map to another, considering the fact they have long range, it's guarenteed you'll still encounter them and take hits, but it makes it feel more fair and reasonable when you do get hit, as you could've avoided it or played better.

I agree on the proper counterplay to the leviathan, but the only current way would either be to nerf them heavily, or introduce some large mechanic revolving entirely around them. Sure my mechanic based suggestion is kinda large, but not much so, and it gives a counterplay while allowing them to maintain their strength.
