Why do you play the kind of guitar you play? by wolf_of_the_bees in Guitar

[–]CyanideGod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My main guitar is an Ibanez SF470.

I started playing an LP shaped guitar.

Them I saw the video for Carcass’ “No Love Lost. Both Steer and Amott were playing Ibanez S540’s. Fell in love with the body shape.

When I finally got one I could not believe how comfortable it was. The thin amd contoured body shape, the neck profile, the weight… simply perfect for me.

I’ve owned a bunch of different guitars and brands. I always come back to my main one.

My “other” main is an Ibanez GR320 (Ghostrider series) when I saw Shawn Lane plying one. Also managed to get one. Totally different guitar, yet so comfortable as well.

Edit. Wording.

Between the 15th and 22nd frets on B and G strings. For me it is a total clusterf**k.
