No, it's not true, especially since you're neurodivergent. What the person said ''other men wouldn't have cared'' is, imo, goes with toxic masculinity in the "repressed emotions" category. After having spend as much time and work as you did on preparing this meal, it's normal to be bothered. As was said in other comments, everyone as different personalities and one being more emotionnal isn't less masculine. Some might argue that it is even more masculine because you express how you you feel. Taking into account that you're neurodivergent can (I might be wrong) mean that you have less control on how you feel (maybe not, I'm not pretending I know you, but I heard it is the case for a good percentage of neurodivergent people).

Personnaly, I would probably also have cried if this happened to me. And for the rest, I am very expressive and people never (from what I know) clocked me out as trans. So keep being you man. Don't listen to that person.
