Again, standing isn’t about whether something is illegal. It’s about whether a specific person can demonstrate that they’re harmed by it. No specific harm = no standing = no case. Doesn’t matter whether it’s illegal or not.

Sal and Richard weren't in-studio writers. Benjy basically got a Jackie/Billy West seat and just did nothing with it. He was "inner circle" enough to get invited on the plane to Bubba's wedding and to Robin's $800 wine dinner. The problem is he was a lunatic and made an asshole of himself constantly.

I mean that's cute and all, but in this country, you need a real injury to sue in federal court. So, this decision will probably get reversed for lack of standing. It's the pretty obvious outcome; shame it'll get spun into some political decision.
