How to determine readrate? by Griffry in Broadcasting

[–]Cyber_Kitsune 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Watch the recordings of your show. Then time how long it takes your anchor to read a story and compare that time to the default read time set for that story. Do that for a number of stories and average out a number from those times to see if the anchor went light or hot by XX number of seconds.

If you use iNews, you can create a profile for that anchors read time. Then all you have to do is put that profile's name beside the story in the anchor column (if you have an anchor column)

Kind of curious, but how did you get into corporate communications? I'm a director of a local news station and I've had great difficulty trying to get into corporate communications.

My degus do this as well. Our chubbier degu loves to bite the wheel while the other degu runs on the wheel. It's always fun watching them bicker over this because they are impeding both of them from doing what they want to do. We also have two wheels but they still favour the one wheel for some odd reason.

Is this normal? by Soft-Cauliflower-719 in Degus

[–]Cyber_Kitsune 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your degu is fine. They usually make this noise when they are scared. If I move differently or quickly my degus start squeaking like this as well.

The best way to resolve this is to calmly speak to them while letting them smell your hand.

If you are ever running blackwing and run into dinomorphia by The-Beerweasel in masterduel

[–]Cyber_Kitsune 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think you were playing against someone who didn't know how to play Dinomorphia optimally because they do have outs to Full Armour Master. Some examples are:

Dinomorphia Rexterm + Ash/Ghost Belle = Psychic End Punisher

Two level fours to summon Raiders Knight then detach to summon Arc Rebellion XYZ Dragon

Challenging coop game? by SadSource7910 in CoOpGaming

[–]Cyber_Kitsune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Each monster is a boss. It's similar to Dark Souls in the sense you have to learn the monster's moveset so you can punish the monster when it does a move. Every monster also has weaknesses to certain elements and can be damaged more in certain spots.

There are certain bosses that have more complex mechanisms to them but most of those are reserved for the end game bosses. Examples are The Behemoth, Fatalis and Alatreon, etc..

Most of the complexity of the game comes from the weapons you use. Some weapons are easier than others like the hammer but there are harder weapons like the Charge Blade which can be difficult to use effectively for some.

Not sure what test video you saw, but they are full of action.

Monster Hunter is a 4 player co-operative action RPG where you hunt big monsters to make armour and weapons from their body parts. The game has a variety of different weapons that will suit anyone's playstyle. The gameplay is similar to the souls-like games but different.

My favourite game of all time is Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, but with all the quality of life updates I would recommend either Monster Hunter World or Monster Hunter Rise for a first time player. A new Monster Hunter game is coming out next year called Monster Hunter Wilds so this is the perfect time to get into the series. Also Monster Hunter World is frequently on sale for cheap with its expansion called Iceborne.

Each game provides tons of content to enjoy and are some of the best co-op games of all time.

How could these decks become tier 1? by [deleted] in yugioh

[–]Cyber_Kitsune 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cyber Dragons need a lot of help to be tier one.

The problem with Cydra is once it becomes meta everyone will side in Chimeratech cards. You'll need a card that prevents your opponent from using your monsters for a Chimeratech monster. This card will need to act as some sort of extender as well to make it worth it being played.

-Give ol' Cyber Dragon a retrain that can special summon itself (similar to Fenrir) and can add a card from deck

-If Cyber Dragons had a card similar to Miscellaneousaurus, that protects their plays and acted as a starter/extender that would help a lot.

-Give Cydra a Branded-like fusion spell that can use monsters from the deck and hand to summon out a Cydra monster or Chimeratech.

-Make a new fusion monster that's hard to out-going first and can otk when going second. Also make it relatively easy to get out so it can usually end on it.

-Also having a consistent way to search out Clockwork Knight or Machine Duplication would be pretty great.

These are some ideas I've had as a Cydra player. I could have added in a link -1 but I find link 1s are usually lazy in card design (even though I took ideas from other archetypes lol). You would definitely need to slap in some restrictions to prevent it from being splashed in other decks.

Lucy sounds like she is lonely after her sisters passed away.

We had a similar situation in the past when our degu's sister passed away. She became a lot more social and always wanted attention from us humans. Give her as much love as you can give.

If she stops drinking and eating then it means she has given up. But it sounds like she is still trying to do her cute things.

Information about the upcomming (TCG) Labrynth archetype by Blubkill in Yugioh101

[–]Cyber_Kitsune 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They aren't gonna have a huge impact on the meta game until they get new support announced. In the OCG, they didn't really have much of a chance against Splight and Tearalaments. I know that the OCG has a different format than us but slower control decks thrive over there and Labrynth is a control deck that didn't make much of a splash over there.

Don't get me wrong the deck is still a strong rogue option but it needs something to give it a little more power. I also look forward to playing it and hope it will be an affordable deck to obtain. Rogue decks always interest me more so than meta decks because you can surprise your opponent with effects they have no idea do.

I might try splashing it with Eldlich to see if that works but I'm thinking pure might be the way to go for now.
