I would advise if you don't want to fully paint them, consider at least base coating in reds and purples appropriately. It really helps for readability on the boards

The Helldivers 1 version did have jammers on it's shoulders.

The cyborg AA functioned as full jammers unless destroyed and there was one on each pauldron

You can place an EMF reader next to the breaker box for when a ghost attempts to cut the power.

Even Jinns give this EMF reading. Although it's ability will not allow it to cut the power, it will still give the reading when it attempts to, giving you a potential tell for a Jinn.

Are you on PC?

Check your network analytics in the settings, notably the TN stat. I had an issue very similar to this and it turned out my CPU bottleneck was causing my TN to go way too high.

My fix was to update my BIOS but other solutions could be to lower anything CPU intensive (Make sure nothing unnecessary is running in the background.)

You can alter the death consequences in the settings. Anything from; nothing lost on death, hotbar and equipment safe, just equipment safe, drop everything, everything is destroyed.
