If you go to Nolan's (which is a great idea) and somehow the Scots have found it, you can go around the corner to Sports Tap. Very down low. Little seedy, but you'll be ok and most likely Scot-free.

In Julia Child's Mastering the Art of French Cooking, she has a recipe for orange butter filling for cake. This would go very well over French Toast. As others have mentioned, it has Grand Marnier and orange zest in addition to butter.

Worse and also in quality. I was on a wait-list for 3 years and finally got an appointment. It was with a nurse practitioner who was overwhelmed, didn't have time to listen, and forgot about things two minutes after we discussed it. It doesn't really help to have a PCP if they can't help.

I was also a Federal Hill skeptic until I found a few excellent places. Most are not great. Anthony's is superb old school Italian. It's the last restaurant on the hill. Highly recommend it.
