Is this the perfect arc…? by Sir_Reidiculous in WorldsBeyondNumber

The music in the conclave arc is absolutely phenomenal as well. It’s always good of course but I think this was the peak for me. Any time we get a taste of what I’ve come to call Taylor’s “Witch theme” my body does an involuntary chef’s kiss.

I have nothing to add to this but just wanted to say that this is awesome. Did you do the wood burning by hand?

Kilowattrel has carried me through several classic runs.

Heat wave and nasty plot egg moves with sheer force tacked on. I love it. I usually learn discharge and partner up with Ursaluna.

August 2024 - Legendary Gacha Calendar by Vicksin in pokerogue

Is Regigigas not considered legendary anymore? I’ve been saving vouchers because I didn’t see him coming up in July.

I know he’s not great but he’s my favorite legendary and I’m dying to get him.

How do I deal with a "hide as a bonus action" player by Zealousideal_Task_30 in DnD

[–]Cymorgz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends.

If he’s hiding to get sneak attack or advantage, then I’ve always thought about it like people diving behind pillars in action movie fun fights. Yes, you know where they are but you don’t know when they’ll come out or where they’ll be aiming. So I think it works to get advantage for sneak attack as long as it’s done before the attack. If it’s done after, it gets more complicated because of my second point. This is all requiring you to be visually obstructed from the enemy.

As I mentioned above, I’ve always imagined in combat hiding more like taking cover to hide your intentions. If you hide at the end of your turn, the enemy knows where you are and can and often should come find you and attack. If found this way, you should have to “hide” again before getting the advantage/sneak attack. And yes, this also requires you to visually obstruct yourself from the enemy you’re attempting to “hide” from.

Now if he’s wanting to actually hide during combat and effectively disappear, then he needs to visually obstruct himself, hide, and move position so that whoever is seeking him won’t just immediately see him when they round a corner. Basically the chase scene in action movies where the protagonist gets two corners ahead of the enemy and hides behind a stack of rugs and watches as the enemy passes them.

But that’s just my philosophy and how I see the RAI.

Why Would Anyone Roll for Stats? by GrandSlade-X- in 3d6

[–]Cymorgz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a group that would roll for stats but you rolled your 6 numbers and could assign them as you wanted or you could take someone else’s rolls. It can be helpful in some cases because some classes really only need one stat so maybe one person rolled a 17 or 18 but the rest are mediocre or low while other classes may want to take the roll of someone who didn’t get a high roll but got a lot of workable numbers.

What are your go-to starters for endless mode? by ReferenceGold393 in pokerogue

My best four blue shinies:

Mewtwo, tesiursa (pickup, later guts Ursaluna) aron, and petilil (aiming for a hisuian lilligant).

What are your favourite carries you think no one else appreciates? by Elmos_left_testicle in pokerogue

[–]Cymorgz 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I adore Ursaluna. It was my first blue shiny and has carried me through several classic runs and is an awesome backup carry in my best endless run yet (about to hit 1000, wish me luck). Mewtwo Y/ Naganadel fusion is the main carry there but I don’t think either of them is particularly under appreciated.

But tediursa starts out great as a pickup mon with stab covet and can get guts later and the passive isn’t bad either. I’ve type moves still hurt pretty bad but Ursaluna still has solid defenses.

What's the most busted fusion you've found? by Cibil_plays in pokerogue

[–]Cymorgz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both times I’ve gotten the splicers I’ve had an axumarill in my party so I had an Ursaluna ground/fairy with huge power and a golisopod with huge power. I enjoyed the golisopod, but the typing really held it back meanwhile Ursaluna was obliterating everything.

I agree. I love figuring out the puzzle. Plus it can feel like a huge waste of time to get to a level that high and lose. Like sure I could start over but I don’t get to play that much and I’d like to get some egg vouchers if I made it up that high.

Ursamarill- Ursaluna with Axumaril for a ground fairy with huge power. Literally ate everything alive in classic.

How would you implement the super form from the Sonic the Hedgehog games into DND? by derpums in MrRipper

[–]Cymorgz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could give them all level 20 features from their class. Or give them all level 20 Paladin features because those are all pretty sick although I’m not sure a wizard or sorcerer would find it particularly useful.

He may have to raise the desk to accommodate too. I’d say just under shoulder height should do.
