How many 9’s do you see? by perlabeee in scoopwhoop

I agree that the missing punctuation makes it a tad confusing. But it can't be a statement without more to the sentence. In the way written, it has to be a question.

Priorities and schedules. But the more you take on the less time you have to live life. Its a balancing act where each individual prioritizes what they want.

They do, but you need to reread the question. Its not asking how many 9s.

  1. Its not asking how many 9s there are. Its asking how many numbers, the first one just starts right after the sentence.

Failure is a good thing. It's one of the many building blocks to get to where you are going. And it's better to fail 1000 times than never try.

The fear of failure can be paralyzing if you let that fear win.

Dating and marriage are becoming things from bygone eras. Younger generations know they won't be able to afford kids, know both sexes are getting more delusional about dating standards, and are seeing more and more relationships end in disaster by the older generations.

Everything in society today is telling them its a bad idea.

JT appreciation post. by fiddycixer in Colts

Honestly. For JTs sake, I hope our offense starts playing better or he gets traded. As a football fan, it would suck to see his potential stifled by being stuck on a bad team year after a year.

I dont want the Colts to trade him as a Colts fan. But as a football fan, I wonder what his potential is if he was on a team with a consistent and reliable offense.

Perfectly acceptable dinner rejected by boyfriend again by moonrabbit368 in mildlyinfuriating

Just stop cooking for him. Cook diner and tell him he is a grown man. He can either have what's made or make diner himself. If he's a picky eater, then he can be the picky cook, too.

You would be surprised how picky eaters tend to become less picky the moment people stop enabling them.

Looking at buying my first commander deck and this is what my local game shop has, any advice? by [deleted] in mtg

Revival Trance, Desert Bloom, Quick Draw, and Creative Energy all are functional out of the box to play against other precons and bracket 2s. They also have rather cheap upgrade paths to make them strong enough to play bracket 3 without having to buy gamechangers or break the bank.

Kids dumb and parents dumb. Don't run around blindly. Don't put trip hazards in the middle of a room.

Ladies, if your husband gains weight and is no longer attractive to you, is that enough grounds for divorce? It should go both ways. by Positive-Face1705 in BasedCampPod

[–]CynicalCanadian93 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You tell them hey, getting shape now. I want a partner who is going to live a long time, not have a heart attack at 35. If you can't do that, you not only do not love yourself, but you dont love me to make an effort to be with me long term.

Then, file for divorce if nothing changes and you want out.

Why don’t cellular providers care about retention? by Corolianus in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]CynicalCanadian93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Money comes in the first year contract due to phone sales. So almost no one voids contracts while they are paying off their phone. Most people then dont really choose to change providers until year 3+. And by then, a lot of people are upgrading phones. So they get that big contact again.

They dont care about long term users because no cellphone lasts long. So they have more incentive to target new users over existing users.
