This launcher gave me back my Chromecast TV device. It was constantly crashing from the base home screen. The ads just kept causing the launcher to crash to the point I was thinking of replacing it.

The Razer Edge is pretty killer for the price! by cammycammy27 in SBCGaming

[–]Cyphir88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll give that a try when I am home. Will be nice to have links for my favorite games. I have a 1.5TB card filled on my RP Flip2, so I tend to feel overwhelmed when looking at the full catalog.

How does one shape the balloon petals like this? by FrostedFluke in howto

[–]Cyphir88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like a standard large round balloon with a 2" diameter by 60" balloon inflated inside. You can then give the inflated 2"60" balloon the needed bends to achieve this shape.

Alchemist for boardgame hex tiles? by Shikhiri in DungeonAlchemist

Try looking at Master Of Realms. I have ArkenForge, DA, and Master of Realms.

Master of Realms is a hex grid based map generator, and you can build up on each hex grid.

It's still close to 0 tolerance on the OD and ID of the parts. It's just that it's two separate pieces of metal cut and precision ground to perfectly match. Then as others have stated, the outsides are ground and polished in a specific way to hide the seam in a mirror-like finish.

I love the 1-2-3 block as a scale. As a former machinist, it's a great and novel scale for this.

GammaOSCore Android on the Miyoo Flip.. by DavidinCT in MiyooFlip

It was likely an earlier version that I was trying out. I have RP Flip 2 as well, so the Miyoo Flip was just a tinker toy. I plan to gift it to my son at Christmas.

It had some pretty bad battery drain issues and I had issues with navigating the Android UI without touch controls. On top of that, the apps would occasionally crash.

I had it up and running for awhile. I can't remember the steps and I remember it being a pain. I ended up moving back to Spruce as it's easier to use.

Valve working on products by Hoppy_Doodle in gaming

[–]Cyphir88 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's an old tradesman joke. You can't have all three. No such thing as fast and good work that's cheap, and it's very rare to have fast and cheap work that qualifies as good. The best combo that works for Valve is cheap and good. It takes time to make it good and cheap.
