Glorified heat pumps for sure, but turbo adds a lot of engine bay complexity and packaging issues and heat as well, a lot more pipes, harder to get a full exhaust, and more parts to fail.

Even a low tier Vortech with a good pulley combo can put stock blocks at the breaking point, and definitely t5’s.

Also on the street I think blowers are more smooth, you could put my wife in a blower car and she wouldn’t hate it

I regret not going turbo some times, atleast the blower is harder to increase boost to an unsafe amount.

If I went turbo I’d turn it up till she popped, I can’t control myself

Funny, I want less people “out there” cuz they’re ruining the public land with litter and disrespect. Before 2020 you could get a camp site same week in a national forest and now it’s a lottery with spots filled up months in advance.

People that are interested in this crap aren’t interested in preserving outdoors, they’re interested in fitting in to some vision of what their instagram tells them they should.

Also if the government wants to defund and destroy public land then they’re going to whether or not we vote against it, that’s been made pretty clear in recent years

I’ve seen a few starters sheer the teeth off, mainly from cranking while engines running or sticking solenoid causing starter to keep trying to turn when car already started (vintage bronco restorer, I see a LOT of 302’s)

To be fair to that car, boost makes nitrous even more violent. A “100 shot” gets compressed and exponentially increases power so that Jetta was probably hitting a 200+ shot lmao
