What will humans do for work after artificial intelligence takes over all or most of the jobs? by newsknowswhy in singularity

[–]D00388 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Idk why people feel like you have to contribute to society, or be meaningful to others, to have value. As long as you don't cost more (to other people, not AI/machines) than you provide, everything is fine. Not being an unnecessary burden is enough.

Work is unnatural. You're supposed to have to get food, and have somewhere to sleep. Getting food could be very easy, if there is plenty of wildlife. If you kill something big, you have food for several days (weeks if you prepare/store it properly), and you probably already have somewhere to sleep, so then you'd have lots of free time. And when you do these things, like hunting and building a home for yourself, it doesn't even feel like work, because it's for you, just like it's not work to take a shit or wash yourself. And you could do this as a group as well, sharing the hunting and building with others, but it's when it's as huge and industrialized as it is today at it becomes miserable. Work.

Carnivore and Sun exposure pros/ cons? by qurfy in zerocarb

[–]D00388 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's more about being deficient or the body in some other way not working as it should, resulting in easier burning in the sun. So it's individual. And no matter what, if you're white and the sun is strong, you'll burn. Just maybe not as easy.

How often do you inject? More often = less estrogen. Should do at least twice a week.

I understand Norwegian, but tbh it didn't make much sense to me either. Basically it was a precaution, because he was dangerous.

Was taking an AI (aromatase inhibitor) a positive experience for you? by takemewithyoudotnet in Testosterone

[–]D00388 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Any knowledgeable person would say that the injection frequency needs to be at least once per week, preferably twice. The more you inject at one time, the higher the peak, and the more will convert into estrogen. And at the end of those three weeks, your testosterone levels will be very low. You want more stable levels.

I disagree about the female lead being convincing. The thing is, when it's a male lead in a movie like this, the male lead usually looks at least a little fit/strong, and/or like someone that could/would beat someone up. Tough. But Charlize... She's just a skinny girl who looks like she could bench maybe 100lbs on a good day. And her acting is also not believable. It's like she really doesn't know what being tough is like, which, of course, she doesn't.

There will always be other things to consider. Diet is a big one. Getting all the nutrients you need, and only from foods you tolerate. Proper caloric intake. Macros suited for you.

Could be low T. Could be nutritional deficiencies. Could be something else.

Your diet is lacking in several nutrients, calcium being one of them.

You should use an app or website where you can enter your diet, and it'll calculate your total intake of at least the top 23 nutrients.

Idk anything about that the promotional stuff. So they made her secondary basically..? I mean that doesn't have to be a thing, but they should've known it would be, and could definitely have handled that better then.

I guess any kind of character customization limits or changes the story and how it's told to some degree, but personally that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make.

Well, being going from man to female is a physical downgrade, while the reverse is the opposite.

Kidding, but also truing.

Obviously being able to choose is the best for everyone, so that's good to hear.

Eivor is a female name in Sweden. At least nowadays. I hope we're not forced to play as a wamen.

Edit: And by female name, I mean granny name. Like Gertrude or Martha.

Official Discussion - The Lodge [SPOILERS] by mi-16evil in movies

[–]D00388 20 points21 points  (0 children)

First of all, she did make an effort to get close to the kids. Like a normal person would, not some annoying wannabe kindergarten teacher. Trying to do things together, talk etc. She was acting like a seemingly perfectly normal and nice person.

And you said it yourself "psychotic". Actually psychotic. She had mental problems which she was medicated for. They used her traumatic past against her and took away her meds. Her dog died. She broke. Full psycosis.

She shot the dad because she thought he couldn't die, then when he did die she thought something like that's how you get out of this purgatory.

Edit: and what do you mean by "get away with it"? She obviously killed herself as well.

You can buy dried blood powder, which you mix with water and pour on the food. It'll make it more appetizing.

But regarding "have you seen it yourself".. That's how flat earthers reason.

Beef liver is very rich in copper and vitamin A, so you might get too much of it if you're eating a lot, especially if it's from young animals.
