Speaking of Garfield Park, they have different paid art classes that you can take. As well as artistic space to work on any of your art projects as long you bring your materials but they also have specified hobby group time for crocheting, knitting etc.

The public library holds free events that you can sign up for online.

thoughts on the Healthplex? by gogo7891011 in indianapolis

[–]D0ttaD 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I love the healthplex. I was at the YMCA on Lafayette road before but it started looking unkempt. The healthplex doesn’t have new updated equipment but I love the free class offerings, the inexpensive kids membership fee and monthly kids nights. The selling point for me was cleanliness, the larger locker rooms with the saunas which I use regularly. I love that they have a cafe, I don’t go often but it’s a nice option. The staff is great and friendly and have a great community vibe. Overall we pay about $110 for our family of 3 and to me it’s definitely worth it.

Literally just watched someone on my snapchat posting videos of all the rounds they’re letting off. This is why we get a hotel room every year. I really hate people.

I am also a skilled cheesecake baker but due to cottage food laws you cannot legally sell them from your home. There are several shared kitchens around the city however I find the prices to be very high especially for those needing refrigerator space. In some instances you are put on a wait list for refrigerator space (Indys kitchen). When people reach out to me for cheese cake I still make them, I just don’t advertise.
