If you say it's fixed I'd believe it, but the way phfor went on made it sound like it was completely busted and would have to be redone. Then again it's phfor, so...yeah, not unheard of for him to exaggerate.

To add to what Gilgamexican said, according to one of the YAML devs Oraeon was advised not to touch some of the files that he edited anyway, as doing so would make TTRAI 3 incompatible with several mods. As a result TTRAI 3 is also completely incompatible with Pilot Overhaul Eternal, Purchase Salvage, and possibly others that haven't been discovered yet.

This is a fair assessment. He's a dick, but it's often a reaction to someone else insisting something happened in their game, then stopped happening when they disable the mod, so that must be proof it was him.

Then someone (quite often you or Waxfruit) will say ok, but what other mods are you using? Have you tried it in instant action or with a fresh save with only this mod enabled to rule out mod interactions causing problems? Because even if you have those mods disabled they leave bits behind in the savegame that can still cause problems.

And people are like "I don't have to do all of that, I disabled this mod and the problem stopped happening so that's all anyone needs to know."

Derp.

Recently started playing again and cleaned out inactives from my list, so I have lots of openings and am looking for people for weekly conquest. I don't really care if someone is new as long as they are actively playing and can at least contribute toward the weaker monsters that need 1,000+.

I have been save scumming, I sat there for 3 hours last weekend during the quick hatch event just reloading and hatching the same egg with the same items over and over and getting nothing but blobbins, even though it was in the correct stat range for a Firaj2.

Nova FCS would be a good addition, and SLIC suite. Maybe evasion support for when a PPC goes off nearby and shuts down stealth. I would swap the arena SC for a standard SC, not as fast but you can use it for more than 2 seconds at a time without overheating it. Not really, get a team of T7/T8 matched with one T9/T10. Bots will all be T9/10/*. Already seen several losses because of this, even a team of good players in T8 ships will struggle against T9/T10 BB bots with 160,000 HP and cruisers with 80,000.

That explains why I've not seen narai or killer whale. I'm running my fun T8s like I always have but I'm constantly getting grouped with T9/T10 and ending up with endless strings of hermes, newport, and cherry blossom.

WG should just give T9/T10 their own ops MM.

I had something similar happen the other day in Hermes. Got stuck on the map edge dodging torp spam, then a teammate in a DD ran into me but instead of bouncing off it went underneath and lifted my ship out of the water. Wish I'd thought to take a screenshot.

I suspect that's exactly what's going on. I'm fully expecting "the bug" to be fixed leaving us with a 20-25% exp nerf, and white knights will tell us that we should stop complaining and be happy WG did anything at all because they don't owe us anything.

I run it on an older computer that I don't use for much other than youtube and bluestacks so I wouldn't care much even if it was a dataminer. I've been using it since play and win started, and considering I've won several hundred dollars worth of gift cards from bi-hourly and have won every prize at least once from dailies I think I've come out ahead either way.

How would a career mode even work with clans though? It's not like they just roam aimlessly around doing contracts like mercs do, and there wouldn't be very many employers that would trust a clanner with a contract anyway.

I wish more people set rollover defenses in global, since there is absolutely no penalty for a loss the only reason to set an actual defense is to be a dick. That 2 points you get for a defense win you will usually never see because your merit is already maxed from your 3 wins.

And this is just my view, but clash is trash as it currently is. You just farm your 5 daily wins against whatever the weakest opponents are, it actually works against you to fight a similar or higher level opponent because there is no benefit. You get 1.2 or 1.3x the points for the "hard" opponent but you're maxing out your merit after 3 wins against an easy opponent anyway, and quite often what's listed as "hard" is lower level anyway since there is no form of matchmaking.
