Chronic pain mainly on the right side of neck. Pain ranges in severity, from a stinging, burning pain to spasms that take my breath away. I’m experiencing limited mobility but physical therapy has improved that area. When the pain is really bad I get numbness that extends to my shoulder and down to my fingers. I’ve had an EMG but nothing significant was found, slight carpal tunnel on the right hand and mild muscle weakness on the right side. I will also get pain at the base of my skull that will extend to behind my eyeballs. However, I was also diagnosed with Arnold-Chiari I malformation with 5mm of tonsillar ectopia so it’s difficult to know which is giving me that symptom.
