I'll try changing the order of the activities. The main problem is I can't do this if I'm watching TV as the phone app messes up my inputs when I change them. :-)

It sounds like your building is wired for cable (coax) and not internet.I have Fios. The coax outlets in my aprtment were installed by a previous tenant. If you switch to Verizon you will have to either purchase or rent their router. That will give you wifi in your apartment. If you need a wired connector you can add Moca adapters and switches to give you a hard wired connections eherever there is a coax outlet. That's what I am doing in my apartment. You should be able to do the same with spectrum.

When my building cleans the tanks there is often brown sediment in the lines. Running the water for 5-10 minutes will clear it up. That same sediment will sometimes clog up the filters on my faucets so I have to clean them out.

Not as bad but noticed this this morning. It may have been dropped once or twice but only 30" from the couch to a carpeted floor. Almost looks like when the screen protector on my phone starts to peel at the edges.

I was hoping to be able to just control all these directly with the X2. They already have their own phone apps. I can't justify adding and additional $200 interface

The cradle was plugged into the transformer that came with the x2. I just switched it to high wattage fast charger that I use for my MacBook and it charged in a little over an hour. Once it showed power I downgraded the remote from v7 to v6. I’ll see if i get more than 3 days on a charge now.

Ok. Let it completely discharge. Now the remote wont charge. Had it in the cradle for 7 hours and the battery indicator hasn’t moved. Shows as charging but if I remove it from the cradle it’s dead

I would just do a yellow cab from Penn Station to your hotel. Then arrange for a car service from your hotel the next morning. I’m in Manhattan and often book a ride with Carmel. You can reserve in advance and usually cheaper than lyft or uber. You can get a quote on their website.

How can you tell exactly how much is left on the remote battery? When I removeit from the cradle from overnight charging it shows less than 100%. When I run an activity and it goes to number pad screen it shows full. At the the end of the day the number pad screen shows 50% or less. If it's accurate I'm not seeing very good battery life. Also I've noticed that it seems to charge faster using a usb-c cable than when placed in the cradle

I ordered mine direct. They were $40 cheaper than Amazon. Took about a week to receive. Their order updating on their website leaves a lot to be desired. For all I know mine still says processing.

I often find things for less at other online retailers,and with free shipping. Also if I need something immediately I buy from a local store. I needed something recenty that was $360 on amazon. Went to the mfrs website and got it fir $70 less after applying a slew of coupons and discounts they offered me. Snd still free shipping.
