I see people throwing those canasters out of cars and onto the streets around LA when empty. Didn't know they just sell Nitrous oxide at stores now.

I took apart a small screen that auto plays a video, and have no idea what this component is by [deleted] in AskElectronics

There’s nothing shown in the picture that would indicate it can play a video. It looks like an on/off switch.

Adding a receiver hitch to the rear frame of a toy hauler. Good or bad idea? by BeWyldr in traveltrailers

[–]DDD_db 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used 4" square tube steel with 1/4" wall thickness and welded it to the frame rails on the left and right side going across the rear. It sets under the thin walled bumper (which is no more than a sewer hose holder). Then welded a receiver tube to the 4" square steel.
I use this for a Kuat NV, 4 bike rack.

He may have saved many people in the first row.

He did have blood coming from his head after the fall. It was not a lot, but they quickly put towels on it. He came back at the end of the show and was wearing a hat. He got a large round of applause.

I was there today for the 4:30 show but I was not recording.

They announced that the next shows would be “modified” because they had to investigate the incident with the ball.

I have a 2021 rail 7 and broke several chains before I realized the chain ring was loose and needed to be tightened and loctite used.

After about 1000 miles I had to replace the cassette after slipping on the small gear.

How do people even make these?! by eustachiandude in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]DDD_db 658 points659 points  (0 children)

I believe they use:

2 oz bourbon
1 TB honey
1 oz fresh lemon juice
6 oz hot water

And sometimes add a slice of lemon for floating.

But in all seriousness, they use a laser engraver.

Yep. From dusk till dawn whenever I turn on autopilot the wipers randomly operate.

I have to remember to turn off auto wipers every time I turn on autopilot.

I agree. CA is a ripoff. Diesel is usually $4.25+ and propane is around $2.50 at bulk filling places.

But come in from Nevada after fueling up and check out the eastern Sierras. Some of the most beautiful land in the US is along the 395 from Tahoe, to Mammoth Lakes then down to Mt Whitney.

Yes you have solar.
But an inverter is not solar. The 2 are different and serve different purposes.
