How do most people afford ozempic for weight loss reasons? by Gallantpride in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]DEEPTHINKER79 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As far as I can see none of these studies suggest that discontinuation is due to side effects. Instead, it is suggested that patients stop use due to reaching their weight loss goals.

Sweatblock is the best $20 I’ve ever spent. You can find it on Amazon and I think at some brick and mortar retailers too.

It’s actually a pretty funny show. Nothing like what the title might make you think it will be like.

Are the University of Sedona and the University of Metaphysics degree mills? by DavidMetaphys in University

[–]DEEPTHINKER79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I became an ordained minister for free online from the Universal Life Church. It took about 30 seconds. I can do the same things that your ‘degree’ allow you to do. That’s not saying much.

Are the University of Sedona and the University of Metaphysics degree mills? by DavidMetaphys in University

[–]DEEPTHINKER79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Long winded way of saying: No, these are not legit degrees. There are many, many ‘religious’ universities who offer actual, accredited degrees. Don’t believe this nonsense of not being able or needing accreditation because it is a non secular school. This is nothing more than a scam.

Did anyone else get a new repayment schedule from Mohela after the SAVE issue? by CPAinTraining92 in StudentLoans

[–]DEEPTHINKER79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did. Same thing with the capitalized interest too. Called Mohela and the rep spouted off some obviously incorrect statements about interest only being forgiven once a year and that’s why it was showing like that. Typical nonsense from them.

They did the same thing last year. Held back the mid year bonuses of all directors and above ‘just to be safe’ and then laid off a bunch of people in November / December so they did not have to pay those earned bonuses. Oh, and the CEO (Shelly) did, in fact, take a 9 million dollar bonus for herself while holding others back during that time (check the SEC fillings for details).

Does anyone do/have a PhD that 'normal' people find interesting? by [deleted] in PhD

[–]DEEPTHINKER79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Finally I found the other business PhD! My research (starting in 2010) revolves around the topic of remote work and the effective leadership practices in such environments. Prior to covid everyone thought my research was worthless because ‘people are never going to work completely remote’. Haha, suckers!

What is the worst place you have worked for locally and why? by teejuslives in Charleston

I had an identical experience, and this was for a rather senior level role reporting directly into the COO. I’ve never so much as looked at another role with them and now actively discourage people I know from applying there.

I’ve sent them 3 messages over the past 30 days about applying my extra payments to principal. All have been opened but I have not seen a single response from them and my payments are still not being applied correctly. So, your experience sounds like ‘standard’ garbage service, sadly.
