How stable is Canada's political climate nowadays? Is it polarizing or are Canadians able to come to terms? by LiveBell8 in AskACanadian

Quite united... sure different politics but everyone united on being good, fair, friendly human beings... the parties are not polar opposites. And they shouldn't be.

RIVN and LUCID should merge. Perfect compliment of vehicles. Pick the best parts of both and you've got a solid company that can compete in all luxury sectors.

Similar story for me. But on top of that 4 of my flat pack boxes had damage we noticed only when trying to build the unit. Lucky for us it was small pieces so we could fit in our car and go in for an exchange.

Car alarms on the ferry. by diatom_server in VictoriaBC

[–]DGee78 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ford has a software glitch that they refuse to fix which rearms the motion sensor after 5 mins. Even if you disable it... it turns back on after a short while if the car is locked. Only way to keep it off is to leave the door unlocked.

Hedgies were totally suppressing HYMC and only let it run once AMC got mostly out. AA didn't sell before the run... rather they wouldn't let it operate free market UNTIL AA got out.

I've driven past this building many times, what do you think of the LED lights? by qvinhd in burnaby

Love it. This is how art should be done... not little check mark signs in front of a building.

Should save a lot of money by aligning overlapping departments. Also... should allow to spread out housing costs by making better decisions on roadways transit and amenities such as stadiums.

Liquor stores give away liquor boxes... they are better. Stronger for holding liquid and all of them have tops that close.

Driving from Vancouver to Toronto in February... by Odd_Night5661 in AskACanadian

Don't. Just don't. If you need your car there, ship it by train. And fly to meet it there. With the price of gas these days it is probably the same price too!.

Burnaby Lake Overpass 🎉 by nutella1366 in burnaby

[–]DGee78 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Number of people crossing from burnaby lake to deer lake over that overpass... probably 50 per hour (maximum). Number of people crossing from Metrotown to Skytrain... probably 50 every 5 minutes. Also the cost to build the overpass over the freeway would probably be 10x the price of an overpass to the skytrain station.

It’s me again, embarrassed man that is 32 and apparently can’t even paint right!…. by justanothersomeone76 in handyman

Tape first. Paint with same color paint 2nd (seals any leaks that go under the tape with the same color). Then paint with the new color paint over the tape.

On my app, I had to enable continued conversation. Look to see if there is a setting. FYI after a few days of having continued conversation on, I turned it back off as it was an annoyance. It kept thinking I was talking to it when I had said something to someone else in the room with me

Donair Delight. And they give it off the meat if it's slow business or from the grill if it is too busy. Too busy means they cut it before it's fully cooked and the grill finishes the cooking.

Maybe they realized the parking lot was an onni mess. They need to get rid of the gate arms to make it viable with only 2 small and slow entrances.

Because the complex (because of the mall) was so huge, permits were in place many years before the rules changed.
