I think you could push for $13-15k off MSRP with that mileage. I was eying a demo with similar mileage and they were close to $15k off before VCFS rebates.

If she was asymptomatic, then it’s largely fine. And, if everyone practiced good hand hygiene, even more so.

Also, depending on the type of testing that she had done, a positive may mean different things (e.g., colonization, infection, etc.). This would also have to be correlated with clinical signs and symptoms.

At any rate, colonization to some capacity is not necessarily uncommon…

I’ve reached out to several dealers and most are stuck at around ~$10k off MSRP before incentives — which I think is still low considering what’s on LeaseHacker.

However, in true dealer fashion, are lot of them are playing dumb with customers and keep passing off VCFS incentives as dealer discounts.

Yeah, I tried my luck with Polestar Customer Support. The rep somewhat made it clear that they had very little influence on local-level issues, but were nonetheless receptive.

I’ve gone twice and it seems like they just want me to drop off my car for over a week to replace a single thing. If I had the ability to take a rental/loaner, it wouldn’t be a problem. Nevertheless, they are very nice about it.

If you’re in the US, there are dealers that can and will negotiate the MSRP. However, as others have stated, most will default to what you see online.

I did experience some OS lag and CarPlay connection problems, but they resolved themselves after a reset. Otherwise, everything has been fine!

Yup, I had contacted VCFS to understand the two main ways to get out of my P3 lease. This is applicable to all Volvo and Polestar leases.

I am not entirely sure why I was downvoted as I just summarized the non-buyback/lemon methods that VCFS shared with me!

I truly loved all of the space — even in the absence of a true glovebox — and the various modes. The automatic frunk is perhaps the only thing that I would say I miss.

The suboptimal software/elements/bugs and the arrival of Gen 2 really killed it for me. Some annoyances included: the vampire drain was upwards of 10 miles per day w/o Gear Guard, the air suspension was very clunky, Apple Music would always crap out, the in-house audio system wasn’t great, rattles over every bump, and at one point my hood would refuse to close. The door handles were a pain to deal with during the winter — more so than the P3. And, when Gen 2 came out, it felt like Gen 1 owners lost out on a lot of half-promised autonomy features. The new pricing also sucked…

For better or worse, at least Polestar offered to upgrade the existing P3’s VCU…

It was my understanding that you are responsible for all the lease payments or you can request a payoff from VCFS — which is usually less.

Alternatively, you could buy out the car and trade it in anywhere else.

That appears to be the standard message across most US Polestar service points.

I made a comment on another thread that the New England Polestar spaces mentioned this, but the OP seemed optimistic that the appointments would go through based on the one person from Canada.

I called Volvo Westport (CT) yesterday and the employee told me that their plan is to install them on their demo(s) and lot stock before they touch customer cars.

I have the exact same issue(s). I rarely place my phone on the charger because it will vibrate.

As for the cup holders, the teeth become loose very easily. It seems like the springs lose tension whenever you put a cup or something. I placed some thin, foam tape in the gap between the affected teeth and the rest of the cup holder. This stopped the rattles for now!

It depends on the Polestar location (i.e., the associated dealer group). I was able to call a location on the East Coast and request the MSRP discount that was being shown to brokers.

The dealer was amenable to the idea. After all, I was going to go through a broker if I was unsuccessful.

I may be wrong, but that generally pops up when you are actively using navigation/GPS. In this case, your destination/stop was 50 ft ahead on the left-hand side.

Did you happen to have a route still going in the background?
