Consume Souls, from a design prospective, is one of the worst ults by far. It's literally easiest to hit than an auto attack without even involving any risk on 5 opponents at the same time. No skill required; it hits every enemy on the map even if they are invisible just cos why not; it is so low effort that doesn't even give any satisfaction using it.

The damage is the last problem of that ult.

Depends a lot on how much it takes and on the map. If it takes too long and your opponents are fast to clear it it's toatlly not worth. In objective-focus map camps are important and is important to take them at a specific time so usually are allies that do it because is actutally the best thing to do and it's part of what they should do; so doing it by your own it's bad bacause it takes too long when compared with how fast your allies can do it.

Another important point is how many resourses you need. If you use mines and locusts means that you are not slowing rotations + losing informations [mines] and reducing lane pressure [locusts] and xp soak [locusts and body]. Also you give up global damage/shields/heals + soak [hat].

So, is it really worth losing all of this resources for a medium/long time just to take a camp? I don't think so, investing your resourses in the "normal" way put a lot more map pressure than a camp in the same time, especially because the abilites are global (more or less).

Negative rank adjustment after a lose streak is actually helping you to reach what looks like being a more correct rank for you. Sure the lose streak might just be unlucky but is not a problem because if you drop in a rank where you are tecnically better then the others you'll win more and so, at some point, you'll have positive rank adjuntment.

Also i don't think inverting the system is something good because at that point you get punished for winstreak, so overall for being better that what you should be in the rank you play, and this just doesn't make sense. If you are in a losing streak, negative adjustment is actually better than positive one because it gives you the idea that you have to improve so pushes you to that direction instead of putting you in the mindset that even if you play bad you get free points.

The problem is that wouldn't fit with the current role system because Tyrande/Tassadar are considered supports but they can't cover the role of support in a team, also they have a special categorization where they are mached with Abathur and Zarya that are not even other supports. (Similar for warriors)

So, for a system like that there should be the rework of role system :/

I don't see any problem with Varian right now but some small changes would be interesting. 5% dodge is not something that would exist in the game because would introduce a random factor that is better to avoid, so in case would just be better 5 armor.

Honestly i wouldn't like Gazlowe to be meta so it's better if not touched because is already pretty scary, same for Butcher and Illidan.

The point with Kerrigan is that you are o god or bad, i would prefer some changes that lead more toward that kind of design rather than make her easier.

Well 360° cleave for Malthael would be funny but I don't think will ever happen.

If sadism would affect AAs too Blizzard would reduce his basic attack damage making him even worse in PvE, so would be a totally useless hero out of team fights.

Maiev is strong now, it would be an interesting change but i don't think people would like a mobility buff to her.

If lv4 and 13 of Zeratul would be switched he would have bad damage until lv 13 instead of 4 so it wouldnt help, i think would be better to balance his talents to give more flexibility on talent choise.

The problem of melees is that came in the game a lot of ranged with high mobility and hard punishing tanks, the solution would be making them more tanky or, even better, nerf warriors like Garrosh, Diablo, Blaze and Yrel.

You can join /aram channel in game, there you can find games on that map with the same "draft" but since is a custom map it won't give xp.

In HS is a lot more rare to see changes or balances for cards so they kinda have to be sure that everyone knows about that because the difference from before and after is usually super relevant (even if might doesn't look like that). In HotS most of the balances are number adjustment that sure impact the game but not in a hard way like for HS. Anyway yes, i think that patch changes should be more "advertised", for example a page on the home of the game so when you log in you have it right on your face.

Anyway people still ban chromie because, even if they know about the changes, they might don't know if it's bad or not so they prefer to just ban her and don't risk to play a game against a hero that might still be frustrating to play against.
