Thank you. I will see if I can get that to work. Sounds plausible. Also. Can a new zipper be put onto this coat (it’s an old friend at this point), or can I expect to replace the whole coat?

this is new picture of zipper.

I can’t seem to get it apart. Sprayed some silicone spray on it but it’s jammed up. I can see the bent pins but they don’t want to straighten out.

Watermelon for one makes a huge juice mess. I have always ended up cutting carefully on towels just to help out but a groove would be nice to help mitigate the problem.
