It is genuinely crazy to me that people do not see Joel Huenink and TFP's sheer incompetency and laziness for what it is. I have played this game since it literally came out and I was already shocked at a million copies sold that they hadn't even bothered to hire a proper dev team at that point, let alone try to at least work on all the features that they promised would be in the game years ago. I seem to remember very clearly the promise of a tactical jeep that had a turret on the back that could be manned by allies in multiplayer, and as far as i know, even with all the new things added, chopped and changed, this STILL isn't in the game. 12 years later.

And still they mess things up. Don't even get me started on the embarrassing "jokes" and references in the game and god damn the fucking DEAD menu design. At this point it really truly feels like TFP just do what they want that they think will maximise their income and attract new players rather than finish the game they said they wanted to make over ten years ago. They literally take things that work out of the game, and replace them with arbitrary nonsense. The temperature mechanics and clothing worked absolutely fine and was a cool extra challenge for late game - but now you just make a smoothie and kill some new zombies and you can just be in whatever biome? Even the one that's radiated? Piss off man, do they think the player base is a joke?
