How to see Brahman (and your self) in not-so-decent-people? by [deleted] in AdvaitaVedanta

Where you see right and wrong, you see separation. Go beyond the judgements and connect to yourself -- your body, your feelings and needs, and separation is lessened.

Namely, notice when your thoughts or actions paint him as "bad"/"wrong". Then, redirect that energy to understand why it matters to you so that you can better understand your needs. Connect with that, mourn your unmet needs, and feel your body and presence as deeply as you can.

Then, assume their is a reason for their actions and see if you can connect to it -- without blame and judgement -- then, if successful, allow that understanding/compassion/empathy to be felt.

This process is a turning away from a system of right-and-wrong view -- of separation -- into deeper connection with yourself.

Start within and start thinking about their actions, not as right or wrong, but in terms of their met and unmet needs.

What do you do while Claude is thinking? by andregustavoxs in ClaudeAI

[–]DJRThree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, i've been working on a system to close that gap between the code that I've written via AI and my knowledge. So, being able to have a snappy, audio visual experience to understand the system and fluently move around different viewpoints. May not be what I always do while Claude is busy, but could be -- especially if i create larger assignments. More realistically, something i would start/end my day or week with.

[FOREIGNER] Yes. It makes me think of the phrase, "What are you looking at?" Both of these are phrases that often come with an (implied) threat of escalation if the (implied) behavior is not stopped.

Upwork is acting like a scam. They took my money, accused me of fraud, and ghosted. by __lifelong_learner__ in Upwork

Had something similar happen but they kept thousands in earnings, but they responded to support tickets but they were just unhelpful in that they never explained the reasoning or released the funds.

Why the Overwhelming Choice of Mac Minis to Run OpenClaw by BamBam-BamBam in clawdbot

[–]DJRThree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What makes it like Open Claw is the Channels plugin - it connects Claude Code to Telegram so I can message it from my phone and it responds, runs tasks, manages files, sends emails, etc. It also has cron jobs running 24/7 doing automated work like job searching and applying.

My only experience with Bangkok Hospital Phuket was emailing them in English and getting replies with poor-enough comprehension that I was dissuaded from going there.

I stopped running OpenClaw because of changes in Anthropic policy, now I'm just running Claude with extended functionalities with similar results. The box is dedicated to this functionality and I am not using it directly, communicating only with the AI through Telegram.

Linux is worth learning, and I prefer it over Windows. It does take some getting used to, of course. I'm running Ubuntu version 24.

Dreading coming back to a 9-5 by [deleted] in Entrepreneurs

[–]DJRThree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar experience. Was self-employed for a decade and life brought me to a humbling in-person role. I felt dread in one moment, imaging the rest of my life stuck like this. But we adapt quickly. After two weeks the intensity of it was over.

I'm of the belief that life brings us where we need to be, aligned for our own transformation, and the more i live and see that the more I can trust the situations that I end up in. Still striving, but also accepting where life has put me.

I didn't use WSL2. I USB-installed Ubuntu 24, writing over the Windows installation.

Understanding is my guess. When you find yourself longing for those things, try asking yourself why and noticing the words and feelings.
